Other reviews talk about the measurement of the bag flattened but the key measurement is the 13.5" of the opening at the top, so despite the bag being wide enough to fit a larger laptop when flattened, you can't get one bigger than a 14" MacBook Pro in this bag. I carry two laptops while traveling plus a 13" iPad so I had hoped I could fit all three in this bag. But my 16" laptop will not fit. But it is a great travel bag, very sturdy, and has extra anti-theft features for those of us who travel with a lot of electronics. It's very roomy, I can easily fit my MacBook Pro, 13" iPad, and a Sony mirrorless camera w/ a small lens in the bag. It also has a strap on the back to attach to rolling luggage while traveling.

I love this bag and the color! It's a nice size and I like the interior and the zippered pockets on this. It is a sturdy bag and I feel like it will hold up for a long time. I would definitely buy this again!

I bought this bag primarily for my upcoming study abroad program. I wanted something cute and functional but still be anti-theft because of where I'm going happens to be a pick-pocket hot spot. I really like this bag because it's not a typical looking anti-theft bag so I don't appear to be some paranoid tourist. This bag is a bit bigger than I anticipated and heavier than most totes. However, one of the features is an anti-slash metal mesh embedded into the bag so once you account for that it's not too bad. I will suggest that if you are using this for an everyday bag with no specific purpose other than to carry a wallet, you may want something else. But it is very room. There are two side pockets you can't really see in the picture which is nice for small items. The main pocket is huge though. I tested it out to see what I can fit. It's roomy enough for my Surface Pro 4 in a hard shell case, a 3 subject notebook, a pencil case, a wallet, a book and there was more than enough space left. I'd say that this could even be a weekend or overnight bag. Overall, it's a pretty sweet bag that's stylish and functional and really not as expensive as some other bags I've bought. It's also a lot sturdier and I don't think it'll break to easily.

This is a good, sturdy bag. I bought it to use as a crossbody tote, but it was very large. I could not see using it as a main bag to use while sightseeing and shopping during travel So, when travelling, I used a shoulder tote bag that I already owned, and used this Travelon as a carry on. It is easy to carry by the handles and looks stylish, and holds a lot. It probably can be used as a personal item bag, and with a strap on the back, it can be looped over the handle of a suitcase and pulled together all at once.

Love everything about this bag. Perfect size. Holds my oversized iPad and so much more. Can tell it is super durable. Will be using this more than just for traveling.

Love this bag! I bought it for our two week visit to Alaska (by train and by sea). The size was perfect to carry my valuables and important documents (with room to spare for a few other small items) while traveling by plane, train, bus and ship. It was comfortable both as a crossbody and shoulder bag. I had everything I needed during travel from place to place. The bag is well made and sturdy.

I returned this. Because: Even empty, this bag is very heavy. There are no ‘hidden pockets’ (inside or out). I don’t know why that’s in the description. There was no mini-flashlight. The top zipper opens in the wrong direction for a person who would carry this on their right shoulder. It opens from the right, which is behind me, and means you’d have to open the top of the bag all the way to get anything out or, for example, to leave anything too tall (water bottle, baguette..,) sticking out of the end. (If you turn the bag around, then the non-locking outside pocket is exposed and that opens from the back.) The bag opening is narrower than the interior. The tail of the top zipper hangs outside of the bag - just sloppy! - instead of being sewn securely. That leaves an opening where something could fall out, or get in. I tried tucking the tail inside the bag, but then couldn’t get the zipper open. Good points: Obviously reinforced, and it would be very difficult to cut the fabric or the straps. The attached straps are long enough and seem like they’d be comfortable. The logo is sewn on and removable. The striped lining is busy, but light enough to see what you’re looking for inside. I really like the attached key leash. Ideally, it’d be longer. I REALLY appreciate that the three zippered pockets - one on either side of the exterior, and one inside - are as deep as the bag. Ideally, the second side pocket inside the bag would have a zipper as well. FYI - color is weathered-looking (faded) military/urban look. Definitely casual. For me, this bag is too small and too narrow for my flight personal item and too heavy for a day bag. I also prefer a more rectangular (longer, not so tall) shape. I noticed that the price fluctuates WILDLY. I bought this bag on 8-19-25 for $42.63. A week later, it was listed at $72! Today, 8-27-25, the sage is ‘down’ to $68.16 and the pewter is $72.94.

Canvas tote very strong holds everything I need to take with me. Big pocket compartments , zippers strong. Great product!! The color is fine but the color isn’t why I purchased it, I bought it because I needed a tote just with a little more space.
