PELONIS PFS45A5BBB 18 inch 5-Blade Oscillating, Adjustable Standing Pedestal Remote, LED Display, 5 Speed Setting and 7-Hour Timer Fan, Black

I got this fan because it was a cheaper (at the time) than a high velocity fan with metal fan fins. Despite this fan having plastic fins, it actually throws a lot of air, even on the lest setting. I actually had to lower the fan speed, because amount of air being propelled at me was giving me a headache. I previously bought a smaller pedestal fan for about the samepeice, but determined that the smaller size wasn't worth the cost, as it was around the same as this Pelonis fan. Returning that fan, and getting this on, has totally been worth it so far.I, personally, do not think the fan is very loud. It does produce an audiblefin/turbulence noise, and the highest setting will definitely mufflenTV or conservation, but it is definitely not anywhere near the loudest fan I have heard/had. I can use the lower settings while watching or talking, and the higher settings while sleeping.Assembly a little more involved than other fans: you have to attach the back grill, tighten a knob, attach the fan propeller, tighten another knob, then attach the front grill. It is pretty straightforward, to the point where you do not need the instructions, which aren't great. The fan also feels flimsy initially, particularly at rhe base, but once you turn it on, it becomes more stable.I can't comment on durability yet, since I haven't had enough time with it, but I will update this review if fails, or has any other substantial issue in a short period of time from the purchase.So far, good fan overall

This is really a very good fan. This is the second unit I buy. The first one would still be in perfect working condition if it wasn't for someone from my past that had an anger problem and would knock and kick the fan down when he got mad (true story). I'm surprised the fan lasted for as long as it did, which is a testament that this fan is great. It has 5 (powerful) speeds that you can control with a remote. It has a timer and all the blows and whistles. It's very sturdy (from base to top), quiet and it has a nice black color. Anyway, the old one quit on me because it was abused. I did not even hesitate to purchase the same one again and couldn't be happier. It is a mid priced fan, but it is very reasonably priced for all the features it has. It's also very easy to assemble for even a girl like me that is not very handy. I highly recommend this product.

If you're like me and sleep with a fan yr round, this one is amazing. My old Pelonis broke, after yrs of use, so bought another one. The grate that covers everything is plastic which is different from old one, so not sure about the durability. On low, the sound is just right for sleeping in my opinion. The adjustments you can make, can put it exactly how you want it.The size is 18" the remote makes it very convenient when laying down. I do like that thos one doesn't have the power light on while it's running, lights bug me at night. The 5 speeds are amazing, on high setting ya might need to hang on to your covers. All in all, I would purchase it again and thought about it just to have a backup.

Well as many of you probably are , I was also skeptical of this brand I've never bought this brand before, I am a faithful Honeywell customer but I couldn't find a Honeywell pedestal fan so I purchased a Holmes brand pedestal and had my fingers crossed hoping it would work for me but after the first use I was very disappointed and returned it ,I continued to do some research and reading reviews I settled on this fan ,let me say wow I'm impressed it's so powerful and has 5 settings of speed that setting 3 was enough for us to sleep comfortably, and yes it has fan noise but that's what I like ( I need noise to sleep) and w/ remote "come on" I can be lazy all day long , I've only had it for 1 night but like wow, hopefully it holds up , will update after more extended use.... thus far I'm happy with this purchase.

My old pedestal fan finally conked out, and during the summer - you have to have fans (even with air conditioning). This fan really moves air. I like that it came with a heavy duty base. It was super easy to assemble, no tools needed. The middle setting was so powerful, my hair was blowing around. Solid construction, and it comes with a remote.

Just received today and put together. So far I’m LOVING it. It is putting off a lot of air and the air it’s putting off is cold. I have a small apartment but the area it’s facing it’s gets very hot during the summer so I have a feeling this fan is going to help ALOT.

This fan has some power. 5 speed settings. It can move some air. Only concern is the base is a little small for that much power. The fan leans when it’s on high. Over all I really like it.

By Far best fan ever ! Wind speed is super strong! Lasko ain’t got nothing on thee guys ! Buy it buy it buy it !
