I was very disappointed with the thickness (read thin-ness) of the material used - I really don't have faith it will last a long time. On the other hand, it does the job it is supposed to, just handle with care.

Just what we needed. My son is taking a medicine that is fat soluble for the next few months, and it has come to my attention that he is a big carb eater lol. To help make sure he gets the amount of fat he needs at breakfast and dinner, I made a mixture of peanut butter, crushed pecans, ground flax and a little powdered sugar and then coated in milk chocolate chips (I know dark chocolate would be better but he has to like/eat it!) with oil. I don't enjoy dipping in chocolate so I bought these molds to use instead. These came out a little bigger then we needed, and from the math a little heavier fat content wise too as I had to melt/mix more chocolate to finish filling them... but we'll just cut them in half. The mold itself is good. It shipped only in the plastic it came in so arrived as you see in that picture. Despite arriving bent it works just fine. Since these were just for us I didn't bother putting the mold on a cookie sheet to help transport it and it really was fine... Not to thin or flimsy to move on it's own but still thin enough to pop out the finished bar. So a good thickness. Popped out a beautiful bar. Shiny. I think it's slightly tapered, in case that matters to someone. I didn't use any grease/oil/spray on the mold. Overall I'd recommend.
