With 4 cats, I have to work not to have everything I own coated in protective layers of kitty hair. This tool worked wonderfully on my furriest of cats especially, and now he's in love with it. He sits and nuzzles it when it isn't being used on him, and goes into fits of ecstasy when he's being brushed with it. It removes more extra fur than any other grooming tool I've used and makes it easy to contain. I should soon have enough fur saved to knit kitty fur sweaters for all my loved ones.Full disclosure-I work with the seller. This is the best tool I've found for removing mats from uncooperative cats. The side with the wide spaced hooks doesn't hurt as much. Just take a swipe whenever you get within arm shot and soon the mats are gone. It was also wonderful for general grooming of a long haired cat. The pile of hair looked as big as he is. I'm very happy with this tool. I bought a Furminator at the same time and like this one better.

Has been the best thing ever for our Maine Coon. The brush cuts through his tough stomach mats and he doesn't mind at all. He normally doesn't like being brushed but he'll sit for 30 min at a time for this brush. It has improved his coat and skin condition.

I had high hopes for this product, and it has met them all. My 1 year old schnoodle (schnauzer poodle) puppy gets new mats every day, and this brush gets through them gently. I had been combing his tough spots with open rounded-tip scissors, but this gives the same result with more comfort all around. I highly recommend this to anyone, and have even joked about using it on my curly haired kids.

Absolutely amazing grooming comb. My puppy was shedding both his baby coat and summer coat at the same time, and we had hair tumbleweeds rolling throughout the living room. This took care of all loose hair in two runs - first run to detangle, second run to thin. Comfortable session for both me as the groomer (rubberized grips), and puppy as the groomee (rounded comb teeth). Highly recommended!

Skeptical when I bought this, but works great on my aging cat. She can no longer keep herself well groomed with her arthritis and, while I can't say this is the most comfortable thing to use, it does a great job of detangling and getting rid of the matted fur.

Got these more to remove tangles from our poodle mix that has very fine curly hair which tangles easily. I hoped it would pull through but didn't work out that way. 3 stars because it is titled as a deshedding tool but the description suggested it would remove snarls.

It works really well. My cat purred the entire time I combed him. Before, on occasion, he would swat at me when I combed his long hair. I was able to get a lot more hair from his coat than I could with his old comb. The comb is lightweight, easy to use and a great buy!
