We've had this for almost a year, we have one with a stainless steel top. Cats love it, obviously, but that says very little about the quality of design.It takes almost no brain cells to assemble, but again, says little about the design.After a year running constantly, the pump is very quiet. This is more helpful than you'd think, because when it gets a tiny bit louder, you know it's time to refill the water. Yes, the internal light can help monitor, but we leave it off because it's fairly bright at night.What I really like about it, though, is the cleanliness. I clean it with soap and water and change both filters once a month. The black filter always collects a good quantity of cat fur, but the water stays crystal clear between cleanings. This is due IMO to the stainless steel top and to the quality design.Negatives are quite minor. One of our cats makes a mess when he drinks, spilling water outside the fountain. To deal with this we've set the fountain in a tray, not directly on the floor. The fountain itself does not leak. I also attached some rubberized feet to the bottom.Overall, a well thought out cat water fountain.

Anyone who has a pet mostly a cat. Should buy this product my cats drink it all the time they never used to drink water. I never have to worry now about having problems with her kidneys cuz I love that fountain. And it lasted me over a year or the first one I got and it's not that expensive in the meantime your pets are getting water that they need. Recommend cleaning it every week or or more because they leave a lot of debris everywhere LOL but buy it it's excellent that also have it for dogsTo make sure my cats were drinking enough waterI like that product because it had a pretty blue light and it came with a filterI picked up mostly because the other ones were out and this was more suitable for the price. With a pretty blue light I like that so if your pet's not drinking enough water your cat you should buy this product it stands pretty in your household and it's well worth the priceThere was five I think other ones this one Drew my attention because they were out of the other ones and I like the price

I recently started working at a cat cafe, where they use these exact fountains. I was hesitant to switch from my easy-to-clean, stainless steel bowls, but I noticed the cats at work were drinking water much more often throughout the day than my cats at home. I have also noticed at work that the fountains aren’t as hard to clean as one might think. There are two filters, which need replaced every two weeks (the fountain came with a starter and a replacement filter of each type) and you can just pour in water to top it off in between cleanings.I set this up at home, and one of my cats was terrified for the first 24 hours or so. He kept his distance from it, and I kept some water out in his usual bowl. When his bowl needed refilled, I would fill it from the fountain in front of him, to show him the fountain was for drinking. Once he got the hang of it he was amused, and put his paw in the streams a couple times to check it out. After about three days, he realized it’s neither predator not prey, and he drinks from it frequently just like my feline co-workers 😊 I was happy to find this and happy to see him come around to it.

Kitty was scared of water foundation initially. Had to keep water dish I wanted to replace out to make sure he had water. A few months later after he sat next to me while I cleaned and put fresh water in it, he’s drinking out of it … so are the dogs I suspect because a full container of water doesn’t last long.I like the light and extra filters. What I don’t like is the top of fountain and another place on top look a bit scraped and dirty after 6 months use.I got the blue and white plastic one, my sister got the stainless steel one and hers still looks great. She has 4 cats, I have 1. (Yet again, 2 mischievous dogs might be slurping water from kitty’s fountain)

We absolutely love this fountain. We had purchased our first one almost two years ago and our four cats love it. I clean it every two weeks and replace the filters. I love how much water it holds and it is easy to clean. The light inside is fabulous for being able to quickly see the water level. After almost two years the pump stopped working and so I ordered another fountain. After just a couple weeks the new pump started making noise and I emailed the company. They IMMEDIATELY sent me a brand new pump! Great customer service! love the ease of use for the fountain and the kitties love the flowing water.

I have bought several water fountains for my French bulldog, but this is the only one that she’s ever consistently drank from.It’s the perfect height for her size. She’s 27 pounds and about 10 inches tall. The filters are impressive. I am amazed at how much junk they catch, which is reassuring because I know my Lola is getting clean water.I’ve purchased two of these over the past three years both are still operating perfectly with regular cleaning and maintenance. I can see us using these water fountains for the unforeseeable future. Highly recommend, especially for those dog owners with brachiocephalic breeds.100% Lola Approved!!

They were a little curious at first, but once they realized it keeps their water fresh and moving, they started drinking from it right away. I’ve noticed they’re drinking more water now, which makes me feel better about their health.The machine is quiet — just a gentle trickle sound that’s actually pretty relaxing. It was easy to set up and clean, and the filter seems to keep the water crystal clear.
