This piece looks beautiful and really adds a luxurious touch, but it’s pretty heavy, so you need to be careful—especially if you have kids. It does have a silicone grip to keep it from sliding, but I made the mistake of putting it on a tablecloth. My 18-month-old pulled the cloth, and the stone fell and shattered. Such a shame because I loved how it looked! I can’t imagine what could’ve happened if it fell on her, so definitely keep it out of reach of little ones.

Arrived packed very well, lovely quality, and the whiteness of the marble was light enough to be exactly what I wanted. Marble can be tricky – sometimes there is too much “marbling” or the color is not what it looks like in the photographs. That was not the case here. A nice light white and limited marbling. Very pretty.

Just what I was looking for good value for the money

It is what it says it is. The stone is about 3/8" thick. It has 4 thin pads on the bottom that are soft enough to be quiet when setting down and non slip. I expect travertine to be porous and this was a bit more than I expected. I do not see a reason it can't do it's intended function.

Absolutely beautiful and love the imperfection in the stone, like the tiny little holes and indentations, which gives it a character and style which I have never seen in any product of its kind. I would buy it from them again. Thank you!
