The Awakening Storm: A Graphic Novel (City of Dragons #1)

I bought this book for my daughter as she recently became interested in graphic novels. Once I opened the book and saw the graphics, I just had to read it as well. It is engaging for the targeted age, it had enough humor and a great plot to keep the reader wanting to keep going.

Got this for my daughter. She loves it.

I like this book its fun and cool but its sorta sad at the start. But I would totally reconmend getting this for someone who loves dragons.

My grandson wanted this book for his birthday and he was so excited when he received it. Waiting for more books similar to this to come out. Book came quick and easy!

This is an awesome first installment in the City of Dragons series. Both my 9 & 11 year old boys loved it. Maybe the best indication of how we feel about this great book is that we can’t wait for Book 2 to come out!My 11 year old son’s favorite parts included an exciting rescue by a king dragon, and the cliffhanger at the end of the book. He also rated it as “definitely deserving to be on the best seller list”.My 9 year old son’s favorite parts included when the little dragon attacked the kidnappers and when the kids got to fly on a dragon king.It goes without saying that the beautiful, intricate artwork further elevates the great story.We would highly recommend this book to any YA reader (or anyone) who enjoys adventure & fantasy stories, especially about dragons!

My daughter is an advanced reader. She's in 4th grade, but reads on a 6-7th grade level. This was a real easy read for her and she's already read it twice.
