Great to see these on DVD!
My daughter loved this show growing up. She's a little older now, but she still has a craving to revisit these stories. This is well done, family-friendly horror that has held up over the years. Great series but know what you are buying.
I bought all of the dvds because my daughter loves spooky shows. This is a good series but the DVD numbers do not equate with the seasons. In other words dvd #1 does not mean season #1. Some episodes are not included in the DVD sets, such as Lily D Part II.

Great Series for Kids
Great series for kids just getting into the horror genre. I posted a review of another season and this one is no different. The imagery is absurd enough to be make believe but cautious enough to keep the kids interested. I do caution parents to pay attention to the movie disclaimer at the beginning of some episodes that says "not for children under 7". They mean it. Watched with my 8 year old in my lap and peeking out from a blanket. LOL

Great quality horror episodes that startle... but DON'T make me fill my Depends.
Here at the old-folks' home, we like the R.L. Stine series of movies and TV shows... the eyes are gettin a wee bit bad for the books though. I've got all six of THESE, and all of the GOOSEBUMPS DVDs as well. Another [companion] recent release is R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series, Vol. 5 All of the GOOSEBUMPS collections are being combined, and are, now, mostly on 2009-2012 releases. Cannot recall any for 2013, so I'm looking forward to new collections in 2014. Very HIGHLY recommended for children of ages 6 to 96. If you can SEE it... you'll LIKE it. "Big Mac" Age 64 in GERMANY

Wie auch für die erste Staffel gilt auch hier: Schade, dass es diese Serie nicht in deutsch gibt - oder wenigstens auf europäischen Discs. Der amerikanische Ländercode macht das Ganze schon etwas kompliziert. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass die Serie klasse grusel für Jung und durchaus auch für Alt bietet.
