Watch out for old stock...
I bought this for a smoke detector (backup power) - picking this based specifically on it's claimed long shelf life.... only to get one (in Dec 2025) that had a date of manufacture in 2023...

Must have despite the high price tag, for my acoustic guitar LR Baggs powered pickup. These last very long time. And worth it. . Update. Lasted literally forever . . I changed my guitar batt only because I needed to change my strings and the battery was at 2of 5 on my lrbaggs batter level meter.

Energizer ultimate lithium batteries are the only batteries I purchase. They have a long shelf life, they last a long time in the equipment and most importantly they are guaranteed not to leak. I have used other batteries, left them in equipment and forgot about them and they eventually leak. Destroying the battery contacts and sometimes the electronics. These batteries are more expensive, but definitely worth it.
