Camelbak Products M.U.L.E. NV Hydration Backpack

This Camelbak is AWESOME!!! I recently moved to Colorado from Florida and lots of my friends had these but I always thought they were pretty pricey so didn't get one. Then we were going on a trip to the SW - Arches National Park, Zion, Grand Canyon, etc - so I got one and I am SO glad that I did! I only wish I had gotten one sooner. The bladder holds a ton of water - it was enough for both my husband and I on hiking trips - and the pack surprisingly holds a ton of other great stuff. I would fill the bladder and load the other pockets with two of those 1 Liter water bottles and a bunch of granola, my chapstick, etc. It was also great for having a place to put our keys and wallets, etc while hiking instead of having to carry them. My husband did say there is another brand that holds even MORE water and is a bigger pack - our driver at Zion had one, its a black pack but I can't remember the name. He was telling me it has some military design or something like that. But I am personally VERY happy with my Camelbak. It is not heavy at all and being someone who has to drink water constantly it was perfect. It made our trip SO much more enjoyable.The only complaint I have is that the water that sits in the hose part gets hot so the initial sip is warm water, ugh. It would be nice if there was a cover or some kind of insulation on it to keep it cool.We also think this is a great idea for anyone that works outside in the heat. My husband is an electrician and works outside frequently and we think it would be great to have on jobsites. Overall great buy and very happy with my purchase.Shipping from Amazon was SUPER fast (I have Amazon Prime) so why even go to a store when it can show up at your doorstep!

Great pack. Love the suspension system for airflow. A good size for day outings, The bright yellow rain fly is great for rainy muddy days. Reservoir is a big 3 liters. I love that the hose is detachable from the reservoir. So much easier to fill it and add powers and such to the water w/o the hose attached. Pockets every where. I like the cinch straps and the easily accessible pocket they control. I put anything I need to get to fast in there like rain gear. Straps are comfy. I had a 23 year old Blowfish before this. Great upgrade.

I got this as a replacement for my decade-old MULE (the camo version with no expandable pocket), and it has been excellent. I've tried out similar Osprey packs as well, and just don't get the same comfort out of them. I use this for long day hikes. It fits all my emergency gear, basic navigation tools, a little bit of food (I don't pack a banquet - typically just cliff bars and trail mix. If you want lots of food, you might be pushing it as far as space in this pack depending on how much other gear you throw in), and space in the expandable section for a light jacket. I have not yet had to use the rain cover, so I can't really comment on that. It was all enough to keep me safe when I got stuck on a Nevada mountainside overnight this spring.Potential improvements I can think of:- a more robust waist strap - and with more substantial waist pockets.- MOLLE webbing (I miss that from my old MULE). I'd also like some MOLLE or other webbing on the straps to attach my little camera pouch to.- A longer chest strap. I'm not terribly big, but the strap is nearly fully extended.

Awesome high quality pack. There is nothing bad to say. I am tall(6'5) and have wide shoulders so it took a little getting used to but this pack is convenient and comfortable. I use this daily on my bike and longboard rides. The main compartment is narrow due to the small and lightweight design but it is adequate for what the pack is made for. The zippers and rain cover are of high quality and will last under rugged conditions. I am a cheap college student so I was hesitant to spend this much on a backpack but the quality and design are worth the price tag. This pack will last for years of hard use. I recommend this product and would buy it again.

This water pack is great. its really comfortable and it can handle a lot of stuff like multiple tubes full size pumps keys, food, tools and thanks to the tension straps nothing moves. the only downside is that its heavy.. but its well worth it. If you want a water pack for long trips and you like to drink a lot of water without having to think about how much water you have letf, this is perfect

Mit gefülltem 3 Liter Trinkbeutel, Reservekleidung und sogar das "E-bike Ladegerät " hat locker Platz, also ca. 6 kg Inhalt, spürt man den Rucksack kaum am Rücken! An der Rückenseite sind Rippen mit Lüftungsfunktion angebracht, die den Rucksack vom Körper abheben lassen. Viele Taschen bieten noch viel Stauraum. An der Unterseite ist die Regenhülle in einer eigenen Tasche integriert. Der 3 Liter Trinkbeutel ist ebenfalls schon dabei! Diesen Rucksack kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Camelbak mi ha stupito. È riuscita a produrre uno zaino tecnologico, bello e di ottima fattura, con cuciture e zip di alta qualità. Il serbatoio da 3 litri, inserito in una tasca apposita, permette di trascorrere alcune ore di attività sportiva senza che vi sia la necessità di rifornirsi.Il sistema NV permette di avere una buona ventilazione e distribuisce correttamente il peso sulla schiena, l'ho testato con 38 gradi, mi ha sorpreso.Lo spazio interno consente inoltre di potervi alloggiare un antipioggia e i kit di riparazione come camere d'aria e attrezzi, chiavi, portafogli e molto altro.Comoda la tasca porta cellulare fatta di un materiale che non ne graffia il display.L'ho usato anche in occasione di un breve trekking trovandolo anche stavolta comodo tanto da dimenticare di averlo sulle spalle.In fondo si trova la guaina antipioggia, custodita in una tasca apposita.Il prezzo chiaramente può essere un deterrente, ma credo che i prodotti di qualità alla lunga ripaghino sempre.Questo è lo zaino definitivo per il ciclista appassionato.Servizio Amazon perfetto come sempre.
