Once upon a time I was a beekeeper and had a library of beekeeping books. Of all the books, this was the most informative. Although this book series is written with children in mind, I bought these by the box and gave them away as presents to to parents and grandparents so they could read to their kids about the life of bees, honey, and their contributions to civilization. Well-written with lots of excellent color illustrations, "Inside a Beehive" is a good, fun read that children love. If you could only have one book on bees, this would be the one.
