I'm living in a townhouse that the whole sections are getting remodeled and everything inside and out. I was hoping carry in a bunch of groceries and the door went open too fast busted the one they had currently and seem to put a hole in the wall though I'm not sure if there was already a hole behind the one we seem to currently have installed. That's just because of the way it looked and everything and I wouldn't doubt it with this kind of slumlord townhouses.The 7-in is definitely a lot bigger than the standard 5-inch ones. And it covered the whole perfectly! However the sticky pads it comes with deteriorate in tear apart to where you can't even stick it on the wall with those stickies. So get a small silicone tube use that to put a dab all the way around right on the edge and stick it to your wall

Installs easy and works. Still early, will see how well it holds up. Quality feels ok.

I wish I had taken a photo of the before. I had removed the 3” broken cover and some of the paint peeled with it leaving a 6” disaster. This cover is luckily 7” and went right over the old hole and the peeled paint!! Its also much more sturdier that the one that was there so no way is the doorknob going through this baby! A buddy of mine had a hole in his bathroom wall where someone slammed the door open and the knob went through the drywall. He's on the lazy side so I got this and put it over the hole. Looks good and will prevent further damage. I recommend it.

I used this to cover up a cut-out I had to do in my ceiling in order to hookup a ceiling fan. It doesn't have much adhesive on it, so I'll have to see how well it holds, but it's up there now and seems to be holding well. The adhesive parts are a bit difficult to remove the covering without removing the whole adhesive part, you have to grab the tiny covering without removal. Took some time. But it definitely looks better than before.

Used to cover a ceiling fan hole that was large. Couldn't find a proper cap in the store and online were over $20 for a real metal cap. Great price and works for a cap.

Lightweight as I need it to cover a hole in a small ceiling area. Being overhead I did supplement the adhesive with a bit of glue! but it would be fine for vertical on a wall.

It covered the hole and it seems ok.

This was bought to hide a hold behind my daughter door for when her door handle broke through the wall. It was larger then expected but I was happy. It stuck to the wall with easy and stayed in place. And provided more protection.

It sticks very well to the wall. I'd suggest cleaning the section you want to put it on and make sure it's 100% dry before you place your plate on it. I'll buy these in the future. They're work great.

This worked out GREAT.... 7in diameter covered a hole in our wall to where the people before put a 8x12 metal screen......this Diameter looks awesome and looks cleaner ....very happy with purchase

Contractor made a (too) large 6" hole for access to electrical box and I had the choice to drywall it closed or cover it. Decided to use this protector to cover the hole so I could have easier access in the future if necessary. Others have complained about the double-sided tape on the back, however it seemed fine to me (I wiped down the wall surface first to ensure it would be clean. No problems sticking - it's pretty lightweight).

Strong plastic material. Exactly what I needed a d expected.
