Bon livre d'initiation au langage C. Le niveau est élémentaire, pour le langage C aussi bien que pour les structures de données. La présentation du livre est très agréable grâce aux nombreux schéma et hors-textes en gris clair. L'un des principaux intérêts du livre est la variété des types d'arbre décrits. Par contre, malgré un chapitre sur la structure de tas (heap), le livre ne parle pas de la commande malloc.

My son needed it for school

This book was prescribed for my college dsa course. It has fine explanation of common data structures as well as some advanced data structures like fibonnaci heaps, binomial heaps, red black trees ,B trees and some more. Algorithms descritption with c program implementations are given .Stepwise workout is also given in examples with illustrations .Still the algorithms are just provided in a very mechanical way / not very reader friendly . Also mathematical analysis /descritption can be improved.
