Replaced my RV fresh water intake fill tube that tore open. Works great easy to install

Ordered one arrived kink, ordered another one and kink again. Can’t use them if they kink. Returning them both. Im not sure if I should keep ordering them again!

Good quality, I bout the 1.25 first and it did not fit. This fit perfect.

I gave this product 5 stars because it probably does exactly what it says it will do, the description does not imply it will do anything else, and the hose is nicely fabricated with robust materials. The Amazon product description states, “This 1-3/8" hose is to be used with hose clamps to connect RV gravity water fill with the RV water tanks.”The description does not mention using the product in other application; however, I decided to replace black corrugated drain pipe with the Automotive Authority Fill Hose for a sump pump application. The Automotive Authority Fill Hose has a relatively smooth interior surface that should reduce pressure drop and maximize the flow from my pumps. This fill hose is fabricated with a green, vinyl like core surrounded by a white plastic “cable” that spirals around the core in a cork screw fashion. The white cable is bonded to the green core. The white plastic cable does not fully compress when you use a hose clamp to secure the flexible pipe to a fitting. Consequently, the “green” core is not pressed against the fitting between the cable allowing the liquid to leak out through that spiral path if there is internal pressure. I had a leak between the hose and fitting with the pressure created by approximately 8 feet of standing water in the pump discharge pipe. I filled the space between the white cord with silicon caulk in the area under the hose clamp to get uniform pressure around the hose and reduced the leak to a slow drip. Removing the cable from the core without damaging the core would be nearly impossible. Bottom line, this is a nicely fabricated product but is not designed for pressure applications.I ordered 5 feet of hose and received exactly 5 feet. The hose is coiled into a tight loop for shipping and took some time to get it to lay straight. The product arrived before the estimated delivery date. Automotive Authority sells a similar hose that omits the white plastic cord at 7” intervals to eliminate the sealing issues. Unfortunately, that spacing does not work for my application, and that style was not available in 1-3/8” diameter.

Though it was coiled all through the tube it worked. Putting clamps on resulted in a minor leak but still works
