These baskets are beautiful! I can’t wait to put them to use. However, I say do your research because you’ll see in the comments complaints about it smelling like feces. It DOES smell, but feces isn’t the right word to describe it. To me it smells more seaweed-like, but that makes sense because it’s made out of seagrass. If you look up seagrass baskets, you’ll find out that most of them do have a weird smell to them but you can clean them and air them out and the smell will go away. I’m airing them right now, so if you don’t see an update to my post or my rating then you know that it worked.

I did get a few splinters because it is actual wood like material. They look good where I used them! But just be careful when handling!

These are sturdy and well made. They also reek of feces. Like the smell is overwhelmingly strong. Going to try to air them out and otherwise will return them because the smell is too strong to keep in the house. Plus I have serious concerns about the cleanliness and safety of woven baskets that reek of feces.

These are perfect, however, you need to let them air out for like 2 weeks to get rid of the strong smell.

These baskets have been perfect for my professional office setting. They are elegant and very sturdy. I was hesitant to order thinking they wouldn’t be professional enough for my office but they have been a great addition and I’ve received many compliments on them. They keep all my items secure and safe, as well as providing privacy for items I don’t want on display or look cluttered. They fit my shelving unit I got from Target perfectly, although slightly smaller than original Target baskets. In my opinion they look better than the typical cloth baskets typically used so it worked great in my office. I felt they were a bit pricey but I’ve had them for about a year now and they have definitely stood the chance of time. They still look brand new. Great purchase and worth the price if you want something a little more elegant looking.
