Can i use with "park tool polylube 1000 grease - ppl-1"?

I don't know, I use it with Super Lube 21030 Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2), 3 oz Tube.

Are you able to screw this on the finish line tube? i could not. it did not fit. not sure which one (tube or gun) i should blame. any tips? thanks.

Finish Line says that this grease gun will work with their 3.5oz tubes of grease, or most others that use a standard 9/16" threaded end. They say it will not work with tubes having a 1/2" thread, such as the Phil Wood 3oz tubes. Having said that, I use this pump, and always buy the Finish Line 3.5oz tubes of their 'premium grease with Teflon', and I have a heck of a time getting those tubes to thread into the base of this grease pump. Always seems to want to cross thread. I have broken the threaded ends off more than one tube trying to force it to thread into the pump. Eventually, I manage to get one to thread in just barely adequately to use. I have tried to address this issue with Finish Line's customer service/tech support, and they never respond to calls or emails. I don't know if they realize there is a problem here or not. I think they are a very small company, and probably have everything they sell made for them by others, and maybe nobody there actually tries threading their own grease tubes onto their own pump.
