Cosmetic Formulation

Never have I been so moved by a chemistry-related textbook. Utterly life-changing. While I was reading this book, I decided I no longer wanted to work as an analytical Chemist and that the realm of manufacturing was more profitable, more interesting, and acted on a much larger scale than anything I had done in an analytical lab. While roughly 50 pages from the end, I applied for a job at another company and changed jobs like a month later. What an amazing choice! I never would have thought about going into manufacturing as soon as I did if I hadn't read this book. Totally worth the money, even if I barely remember any of it.Tl:dr: Extensive knowledge on cosmetic manufacturing. May lead to career insights or product ideas.

If you are formulating cosmetics, this is THE book you need! A bit more in depth, but hey, if you are in this industry, you need to know what you are doing. I am reading it from cover to cover.

Not what I was expected. A lot of scientific information but I was looking for more specific formulations. Might be helpful for someone who is interested in all the science of skincare.
