Does this support 1920x1080 144hz?

I'm using it to run 1440p @ 144Hz, so should work for 1080p

Can i take the caldigit thunderbolt [computer] to hdmi cable to plug in my laptop and still work with the entire ts3 dock?

Hello, so I purchased a TS4 caldigit dock and my setup is as follows....connecting a macbook pro to dock via supplied thunderbolt cable usb-c style on both ends. however, i do use a dongle ucb-c/hdmi to connect an hdmi monitor (to the dock) and it works fine. all other ports function properly on the dock. had it for three months with no issues.

Can i use this with my ts3 (dock) thunderbolt3 port to get a successful hdmi output to connect to my monitor?

Yes absolutely! I use it and it works with my Lenovo T490 and MSI G75. Now, one thing that you have to know is that in some cases, if your laptop cannot handle the bandwidth used by the DVI and the downstream thunderbolt ports at the same time, you have to use one of these ports then. For example, on my MSI I can use the DVI and thunderbolt ports at the same time, but on my T490 I can't, this causes a power surge. It's not because of the TS3 dock nor because of the adapter, it's simply because my T490 cannot handle that.
