Good tool
I've only used it a few times but it seems to be a good tool.

Do not buy anything else
The others you can buy are garbage. This is the one you want. Your leather is going to laugh at that $10 one you bought instead. They make better ones for over $100 but this is the true standard. Get this. You will not ever need a new one unless you want some bling.

Works great
The detail rougher works great. When I make a leather wallet I have a need to only rough up an edge for gluing. This works like a charm. It allows me to precisely glue an edge. I've struggled in the past with sandpaper and wire brushes trying to achieve an even and precise gluing edge. It saves me a lot of time opening up a credit card pocket.

Well Made Leather Roughing Tool
Product is as described. Well made tool. Sold at a decent price and shipped at a reasonable pace. Roughing tool arrived in excellent shape.

Pricey but worth it
They have the market cornered in these. I little pricey for what it is but it works well and is necessary.

Good tool
This tool is very good I like it a lot, my only observation I have is that I don't like the plastic part I would have liked it to have wooden almost all my tools are made of wood and together they look good when I put it in with my other tools It does not fit at first glance, the well-made sight tool finishes well and does not slide in your hand but they should offer it in wood also for those of us who like a tool with wood

Very good handle for grip.
Very good rubber grip. And the the diamond shaped knurl is is very nice and sharp. May need a small tooth brush to brush away debris it gets a bit accumulated there.

Roughs leather nicely but keep it clean when using.
I've seen mixed reviews on this but it has been working well for me. If you have a clean file brush, use it to remove leather bits that can clog up teeth. I feel like its comfortable to use. Very straightforward. I recommend. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
