Q: Should i get the rotofury which costs less or just buy the mastodon? i know both are equally good but what are the differences?

The Rotofury is pump action and the Mastodon is just pull the trigger and fire. So depending on your kid will make a diffetence. The Mastodon also hold more bullets so less reloading but the Mastodon fires faster so you can shoot and reload by the time most have shot their fewer shots. I would recommend the Mastodon just ease of use and less worry of using a pump slide to fire.

Yes. For sure. It's a bigger gun, compared to many other nerf guns available....but definitely able to be operated by a 5 year old. I have 3 boys. 5, 8 & 10. We own over 100 nerf guns. This is one of their favorites!

No. It won't fire without them.its an impressive Looking Nerf gun but if we had to do it again, we would not purchase it. It's to big for a kid and the batteries make it expensive.
