Ecco Men's Jeremy Hybrid Boot Chukka Boot

The Ecco brand of shoe has been a source of comfort and quality for me ever since I purchased my first pair nearly 25 years ago. Over the years, no other brand of shoe has so consistently delivered the quality and durability I am looking for at a fair or reasonable price. Ecco shoes are an expensive brand, but I am a firm believer in the notion that consumers usually get what they pay for. There is nothing wrong with bargain hunting so long as quality and comfort aren't compromised. I mostly purchase shoes in the Ecco brand for work, but I occasionally buy other Ecco styles for sporting or leisure activities. The Jeremy Hybrid Chukka Boot has exceeded my expectations. These shoes seem to be durable and are very comfortable to wear. One precaution for potential buyers is that these shoes tend to run a tad large in the heel and mid-foot region. This has not been an issue for me since I wear custom orthotics by Goodfeet that effectively 'fill in' the sizing differential. Any individuals NOT wearing custom orthotics may want to consider purchasing the Jeremy Chukka boots a half-size smaller than their accustomed size. The elegant simplicity of this good-looking hybrid boot is a perfect blend of formal and casual styling. These boots work well with most anything I decide to wear, and I always appreciate buying shoes with fashion versatility, i.e,-more bang for your buck! I cannot recommend this Ecco product highly enough. Remember these boots run a bit larger than a standard Ecco brand shoe.

I normally wear size 45. I coupled mine with a pair of Superfeet insoles and these might qualify as my most comfortable shoe in the closet. They are very light with an athletic feel. These are well made with a leather inner liner. The brown is more like a milk chocolate brown rather than the reddish hue in the picture. They have a good ankle feel with the lacing giving a firm hold on the foot. Nice enough to wear for business casual. Ecco did very well with this one.

The shoe, 41 (7.5), comfortable but 1.5” too long. I tended to trip. My Ecco Gortex shoe disintegrated prompting this purchase. The sole near the heal crumbled into sticky powdery mess. The top of the shoe is in great condition, so I'm very dissappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will say that while I normally wear size 9-9.5 shoes, I had to send the size 43 ones back and order the 42s. I forgot how large Ecco shoes ran. Other than that issue, the shoes looked great - cool design, nice color and typical Ecco comfort. Can't wait for my 42s to arrive.

Read the reviews... I did not. The shoes run close to 2 sizes larger than normal. I wear an 11 and followed the guide. They were huge. I was planning on keeping them and enroll in clown college but decided to keep my career and return the shoes.

I've always had good experiences with Ecco shoes, and these are no exception. These are fantastic chukkas.I wear size 11 or 11 1/2 typically, and size 44 in Eccos. Know your European size before you order---I wouldn't trust the conversion listed in the description.

Ecco shoes always fit perfectly, but sadly, these did not. The interior heel cup is very rigid, and dug into the bottom of my ankle near the achilles tendon. Weird, and uncomfortable. Sent them back. Too bad, cause I really like the style. It just might be the shape of my foot, so try them yourself.

ECCO makes the ONLY shoes that I can wear all day at the office into the evening walking around and not kill my back. Great support and lightweight. On Amazon, ECCO shoes are fraction of the price that you will find them at an ECCO store at the mall.

Casual smart, I bought size 42, plenty of room in front and a comfortable width not tight, my width is a little larger than slim. Very nice boot!

Took a bit of wearing in around the ankles/heel - had some blisters on the back of my foot initially - but now very comfy.

Very comfortable and fits perfectly. I can walk for miles in these. As expected

Dissapointed - not realy as the picture - they are quite formal looking and very tight
