Note: The phase of the output signal is displaced by 90 deg. This is corrected if you are using meters built by eGauge, Veris or certain Measure Logic products. If you need phase correction with out these meters, or a unit tuned to a specific amperage range, please check out our RCS-1800 series available at differing amperage ratings i.e. 1000, 2000. The Magnelab RCT-1800-000 Series flexible Rogowski coil current sensor measures AC current up to 5,000 Amps. The flexible Rogowski coil opens at the connector junction and can be installed on an existing cable or buss-bar in a matter of seconds. The RCT-1800-000 comes without the integrator, and produces 70mV for every 1000A on the primary conductor, when operating at 60 Hz (at 50 Hz the output is 58.33 mV per 1000A). The RCT-1800-000 Rogowski coil is UL Recognized (E96927) to IEEE 57.13 and CAN/CSA 60044-1. Regarding safety, the RCT-1800-000 Rogowski coil meets UL STD 61010-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 61010. The RCT-1800-000 is designed and made in the USA. If you plan to measure amperages lower than 20A, you can wrap the Rogowski coil around the primary conductor twice to double the output, effectively allowing you to measure down to 10A with 1% accuracy. Frequent Applications: Energy sub-meters, Power meters, Power quality monitoring, Condition monitoring, Distributed measurement systems
