POWER/Tornado ECHO Mic for CB/Ham Radio 4 pin Cobra/Uniden - Workman DM1000

I have bought 2 of these mics and have had to have them rewired to work on my cobra radios and in the description it states they are prewired for cobra and uniden this is false and the description needs to be changed

Hunny is a trucker for 50 years. His ole reliable mic died. Thought he'd try something new. He had a new thought coming. Modulation as so garbled no one could understand him. So back it went. BTW, he repairs microphones so for him to give up on this from the get-go says something.

Only two days for delivery; Amazon is outstanding. I have a stock Uniden Bearcat 880 and I have to have the echo volume and delay set to low because this mic is so potent. Great quality and results, the mic has much push for audio. A very nice item.

I found how to get endless echo that never stops on this microphone.The echo volume knob has 3 wires conected to it and i found that if you disconnect the black ground wire from the dial completley then use a drop of solder to short out the other 2 wires together or just hook them up to a switch will fully activate the echo time and will continue to echo endlessly for as long as you can hold down the PTT button.

i don.t like it. it feels cheep the little screw holding one of the knobs fell off of it the small screw fell onto the carpet and is lost forever.the ptt switch cuts off when talking. don.t buy that one. i know it was on sale but so what.if you put your name on something i thought you would like it to mean something
