Good hardware, Windows 8 a letdown.
For the price, this is a powerful computer. It has a large hard drive, fast processor, and the video card can handle some 3D video games. There are plenty of USB ports for expansion, and there are PCI express slots and drive bays available inside the case. The styling is nothing to write home about, but at least it's not ugly. Overall, the hardware gets 2 thumbs up. The problem here is Windows 8. I've been using the computer for 2 months now, and I'm frustrated with this operating system. It was not designed for the typical desktop computer user, it was designed for young people who spend half their life on their smartphone or tablet. It was designed for touchscreen devices, not a computer mouse. It was designed for social media addicts, not for getting work done. Many tasks that required 1 or 2 mouse clicks with windows 7 need 3 or 4 mouse clicks with windows 8. In some ways, an effort has been made to speed up routine tasks like checking your email, but it requires customization to place an icon on your desktop so you can shut down easily. The learning curve here is steep, and does not result in greater ease of use, in my opinion. I want what I choose to do most to be easy and quick, but Windows 8 chooses what's easy for you, and I don't like their choices. I also feel it is arrogant of Microsoft to ignore their customer's wishes and dictate to them what an operating system should be. Thankfully, I have the necessary know how to convert this computer to Windows 7, which is what I am going to do.

Good computer
I like the computer so far but I have to be honest and say that Windows 8 is very hard to get used to...that would be the only thing I dislke about the computer so far.
