Extremely Quiet Strong Air Flow
This 16 inch fan is extremely quiet and versatile. It has impressive air flow at all speeds and the battery life is as advertised. It does charge quickly and is easy to operate. The fan comes fully assembled and charged so it is ready to use out of the box. We bought this to use outside which is convenient since there are no cords. It is well made. This is the second battery powered fan I have purchased and I would highly recommend this one, especially if you live is an area where storms can cause extended power outages. The run time allows you to sleep with nice air flow blowing on you, which in a hot humid climate is a must. After my satisfaction with the first fan I purchased from Greek Aire I had no problem buying this second one. They are a good company with great customer service.

Best fan ever!!
These fans are really great. They run off their charge for about 4 hours and have a USB port so you can charge your phone or whatever while they run. I have frequent power outages here of late and they have been a godsend. I have purchased 4 of them now, in 2 different sizes. I keep them plugged in all the time so they are fully charged in case I need them. I plan to buy 2 more for my cabin in the mountains. It gets a bit warm sometimes in the summer there and I can also use them in the winter to push the warm air from the fire around a bit. They are attractive, well-built and easy to move around. I highly recommend them.Amanda

Life saver for summer camping
I go to a lot of music festivals where I end up camping in a field in the middle of summer. This thing is worth every penny. High output, low noise, long-lasting battery. When it arrived, I did a full charge and put it on the lowest setting. The battery lasted over 48 hours. I couldn't believe it. At mid to high settings, it's great for relief from the midday sun. On the low setting, you can stay cool in your tent when the sun comes up in the morning.

Outdoor fan
I ordered this fan to use on the patio. It was delivered much sooner than expected. Which was great! Not complicated to charge or operate. Charged in less than 2 hours. The picture shows it is as tall as the seat on a chair and about as wide as the chair. On the patio, it provided a strong stream of air that was felt from 10 feet away. The only complaint I have is that it would not stay directed in one area. No matter how tight I adjusted the knobs in the side of the frame, the fan still moved upward. I did not want to strip the knob screws, so I tied a string to the fan grill and attached it to the frame to keep it headed in the direction I want. I just have to loosen or tighten the string to change fan direction. You would think for $200, the fan would have a better system for directionality. Overall, I am happy with the power and portability. It is not heavy and can use about anywhere. The directions said not to use liquids to clean, so I would not leave this fan out in the rain. I'm hoping it will last a long time. It is guaranteed for one year.

Fantastic Fan!
We live in Central Florida. We have central AC but still use fans in EVERY room of our house. I have a small electric fan on my desk all the way up to a big floor fan for the deck. We know our fans!My only concern ordering the Geek Aire CFK2 was not knowing if it had a carrying handle. It does! And it is ultra quiet and efficient. The fan is completely assembled and packed very well. It is lightweight, adjustable, and moves a lot of air. I give it an 11 on a 1 through 10 scale!I initially purchased this fan to use outdoors when I grill due to the Florida heat. But now I believe that we will find many other purposes for our new, favorite fan!

Does not Stay in Place
The power charger and fan dial is located on the back of the fan near the handle. This is a large black box which is heavy and does not allow the fan to staying place. The dials on the side of the fan base to hold the fan in place is USELESS because of the big power charger on the back. Do not waste your money on this fan. It works well cooling straight up in the air, any other adjustments will require constant work and movement!

Won't stay where you aim it
The good news is this a beautiful looking, super-portable, long-lasting battery operated fan for indoor or outdoor use.The bad news is despite calling it a "hurricane" fan, it's simply not that powerful compared to the Vornado model 723 which costs significantly less (but has to be plugged in to work). The really bad news is that the fan refuses to stay at the angle I adjust it to. It stays that way for a few minutes at most before going back to the angle it prefers. I'v e tried tightening the height control knobs, and they simply don't work right. The fan is otherwise decent, but not powerful enough to get you through heatwave with no A/C. I would not buy this fan again. Get a Vornado model 723. Now that's power, plus it's built like a tank and stays where you aim it.If you are going camping, or to the beach, or just doing outdoor stuff anywhere, or you're in a summer time power outage, then this fan makes sense--especially since it doesn't have to be plugged in once its been charged. It puts out a pretty good amount of air for several hours, but because it won't stay where you aim it, that kind of defeats the purpose.

charger issues and no customer support - wish I knew before I ordered
the fan arrived with a dead battery that would not accept a charge. I took it to a specialist shop who were kind enough to test it. Had to go to expense of returning and still have not had refund. No reply from the seller. Now escalating to Amazon
