Fun for my daughter and I first kayak ride. Just as described! Glad I purchased the upgraded 2020 version. Framed front seat. Nicely upgraded very comfortable padded seats. They fold back completely for storage. Love the 2 deep dry storage areas. 2 Water bottle storage areas in middle bugee spots. Extremely sturdy and tracks well on the lake. I'm 5'9 woman and was able with some effort 😅 place it directly on my Enclave padded rack roof. Absolutely no problems with delivery, wrapped professionally. Thanks Perception!!!!

The kayak itself is awesome! The delivery of the kayak is a major problem! If it was not for the horrible delivery experience this would be a 5 star review. Very comfortable seats with good back support, a lot of nice features for a base kayak. The delivery was scheduled for a two person delivery at a certain time window. The window came and went and no kayak or call. Had to leave for work, then received a phone call about two hours after it was scheduled to be delivered saying that they were late. Giant truck arrived at the house with just one person, my wife had to help delivery the kayak into the garage.There was zero shipping protection for the kayak and it arrived with LOTS of scratches, a broken carry handle, a missing skid plate and a gouge so deep that it nearly went into the hull.Because these things are so hard to get ahold of, I'm stuck with trying to repair the gouge and have to contact the manufacturer to see if I can get a new carry handle and skid plate.Buyer beware if you order and it is scheduled for delivery from Pilot Freight! When I looked up the company, soooooo many 1 star reviews. Amazon should part ways with this shipping company.

This tandem kayak is great! The new seats for the 2020 model are definitely an upgrade from the previous year model. It’s sturdy and well built. We also bought (separately) the scupper plugs so we had them to plug the holes if needed when on the water. There is room for 1-2 small children but there is no true seat them so they are basically sitting by your feet. We bought some foam pads for our daughter (6 y.o.) to sit on when we went out on the river. I’m probably 235 lbs, my wife is ~140 lbs, and my daughter is about 50 lbs. The kayak was stable on the water and we had a great time. The only thing missing would have been some kind of true seat for a kid, even if it was an add-on you had to buy separately that could snap in place or something similar. Definitely recommend it. One thing to keep in mind is that this tandem kayak is huge, and due to its length/weight i would definitely recommend using two people when you’re moving it. Enjoy!

The kayak delivery took several attempts to get delivered. It was not wrapped in any protective covering. After examining kayak several surface scratches noticed. It will not affect the kayak and will have more scratches after I use it. Today we took the kayak out. It handled well on the lake. Even though we had my two young grandkids and my husband and myself in the boat, it was very very stable. The adjustable seats were very comfortable. The only complaint is they need to include the skuttle hole plugs. Why did the manufacturers make the boats with these holes are beyond me.

We just purchased for 2 adults and a child to use... the new seat design for the 2020 is super nice.. the pictures don’t do it justice. I’m so happy we purchased this kayak. Although my husband was surprised how big it is... so finding a place to store it is going to be a challenge. Happy to see it’s made in this USA. Wish it came with paddles though... definitely an added expense.

I just received my kayak. It was delivered four days late and.it is all scratched up and the front seat back is torn. Please help

We switched from 2 single kayaks to this tandem because we always ended up tying our singles together when someone (me) got too tired to paddle anymore:) This kayak is great! It has all the storage you could ever want for any day trip. There's even enough room for our 55lb dog. My only con is that it's SO HEAVY. But I think this is common for tandem kayaks. I just need to get one of those kayak carts.

This is my first Kayak, so I did some research before buying it. This is my impression:Pros:- Big. Plenty of space, you have a couple of small compartments for storage and in front and back tie ins- Stable. Moves a bit while rowing, but overall it was great on calm waters- Build. It is nice looking and durable materialCons:- Heavy. May be a pro, but it takes some effort to carry and to mount it on top of the suv.- Shipping. Expect some scratches, but luckily it was intact- Accessories. Need to but paddles, paddle leash and 6 scupper plugs
