I can’t say enough about Cystex products! I started taking Cystex liquid (one cap a day or two if I was having symptoms, like the instructions said) in July 2019. I remember exactly when because it gave me my life back! For 3 years, I had bladder infections not just chronically, but constantly. A week or two after antibiotics, the infection would come back, if they even went away at all! I was put on daily antibiotics. Once I started taking this EVERY day, I only got UTIs every 2-5 months. When I use the antibacterial pills too, I don’t get UTIs at all. The liquid seems to be absolutely necessary, when I can’t afford both, but I had one recurrence when I did the liquid-only again, for a while. I personally prefer the combination, to be safe. Before I used Cystex, I couldn’t work. I had to leave two jobs because I was missing too many days and it was too painful to work. I even got 3 kidney infections, which is serious. I was worried about my health! Now, I can be active, go to school, and work! When I started using the liquid, I had an infection and took antibiotics at the same time. When I got occasional infections after starting, if I increased the dose at the first sign of symptoms, two went away without going to the doctor. I do NOT recommend exceeding the recommended dose, even if having symptoms. I did that once to try to make sure I was healthy on vacation, and I spent a lot of time running to the bathroom. It made me go a lot! It doesn’t do that at all if I just take it how it says. It works, so no need to overdo it! When I started my new job, I forgot and took extra again…same results! Won’t make that mistake again! Otherwise, no side effects at all from Cystex products, and I love the taste. It’s refreshing, not too sweet or sour, and no funny texture. That’s part of why I wanted to take extra, but now it’s just a little treat. I do have one complaint, which is that they changed their packaging a while back. I can’t get the cap to seal after opening, so it has to be stored where it won’t tip over. When I travel, I have to put it in a different bottle and bring the dosing cup separately. A small medicine bottle works well. It seems minor, but it’s a bit of a hassle. I like that it has prebiotics, so I take it with a probiotic…works great if I’m having tummy trouble or have to take antibiotics for a sinus infection or something, because I am good now! No UTIs in many months! I was amazed because the company doesn’t even make all these claims, because it’s a supplement. It is not cheap, but now I can work so it’s worth it. The freedom from pain and daily antibiotics is priceless. I appreciate the prebiotics because it’s helping me repair GI damage from years of antibiotics, too. If they don’t change their formula, I will always use this daily.

I have renal disease (stage 5). I am now on dialysis three times weekly. Unfortunately, I also get bladder infections. It has been a non stop battle for over 3 years now, during this time I have gotten a LOT of infections, and they have put me in the hospital several times. Last year I had 8 or 9 infections! This problem, at least the biggest one, is that if these continue, I will not be eligible for a kidney transplant; if you get many infections after a transplant, it is likely to fail. After more than six months on dialysis, I FINALLY seem to have a grip on the situation. I use Cystex cranberry concentrate, I add it to my preferred drink, lemonade and pomegranate juice. I use a LOT of the concentrate, adding 1-2 la to a 30 oz drink. So I go through a bottle every 2 days. At that, it's a bit pricey, but my health is worth it. I also add d-mannose powder to my drink (reviewed there), and I take Cystex antibacterial tablets. The combination of efforts has reduced my infection frequency....I have only had ONE bladder infection in the pastb5 months! The Cystex products add up to a fair bit, even with savings via monthly subscriptions, but as I said, used religiously at double the recommended dose, has resulted in a tremendous IMPROVEMENT: only one bladder infection the same time frame a year ago saw 3 infections, so it is value added, as far as I am concerned!

Works fast without the orange pee. Better to me then the tablets.

I will try to keep this review as clean as possible. I noticed a few years ago that my body no longer processes RED FOOD DYE and instead passes in into my urine stream. And when you don't do a good job of reading the ingredient list (like I did for 2 years) that my "interior hose" was clogged and everything that came out of my body as #1 was tinted pink. Not red, as in blood. But pink, as in Berries in Special K. And depending on what I ate, #1 could be pink, red, cranberry, etc. As the "hose" was clogged from the inside, it made #1 much more of a hassle than it should have been, which then cause issues for #2 because I was straining so hard for #1. I had tried everything that I could think of and wasn't looking forward to multiple trips to a doctor while they eliminated all other options with multiple tests.I tried this last Sunday, with the recommended 15ml daily dose. It wasn't until day 6 when I saw results. But the results were astounding. With every trip to go #1, I could see and feel pieces of food dye pass thru my "hose" and out of my body (it was soft, so not painful, but not in a liquid state so you could feel the difference.I am looking forward to the next week as single bottle is supposed to provide 15 days of treatment. I came here today to order another 6 bottles and I will contiue to use them on a monthly or bi-monthly as needed. The cost of this is far cheaper than doctor visits and tests.
