Easy to Install, Big Benefits
I have just started installing this insulation baffles for 24-inch rafter bays, and I have to say, it is one of the best decisions for my attic. The installation process is very easy; all I need is a staple gun to secure them in place. They create an efficient air vent to and from the attic via the soffit, ensuring proper airflow and helping with insulation performance. An unexpected bonus? These baffles also hide those pesky nails sticking out of the roof decking, which have caused me more than a few head scratches in the past. (Tip: Wear a helmet when working in the attic)Yes, this is not a cheap project, but I have no doubt that it’s worth every penny. This helps lower down AC cost in the long run.If you’re looking for better attic ventilation and a safer workspace, I highly recommend these baffles.

Best Baffles Ever
I've been focusing on fixing up my attic this year and part of that has included installing baffles for proper ventilation. I've tried two other baffles, the plastic ones from both Lowes (proVent) and Home Depot (Amerimax Accuvent). My home was built in 1968 and has 24" bays. Neither the proVent or Accuvents correctly fit into the bays. The Accuvent is too narrow, I believe with the idea they would be stapled to the roof plane. The roofing nails prevent this from being a feasible installation method in my case and I tried installing them half to the rafter and half to the roof plane to get around some of the nails and have a larger ventilation gap. I ended up ripping this out because it's just not right. But the design to allow for a fold at the wall cap was spot on.The proVent had all the same problems as Accuvent, but doesn't fold well for the wall cap. It's not designed to though, and they have a cardboard accessory to install near the base of the proVent at the wall cap. No way was I going to buy this because 1) in an existing, shallow attic like mine it is impossible to reach the wall cap and install this and 2) it will not hold up as well as plastic. The Smart Baffle is far superior to both of these (and the super flimsy Styrofoam baffles you can get in big box stores). The fact that you can score and fold at the wall cap is perfect. They fully fill a 24" rafter bay. The side folds are 2" so the baffle clears all the roofing nails. They are very sturdy so it's easy to shove it down a rafter bay in a tight existing attic space. And the sturdiness also allows them to be easily trimmed to fit around obstacles if needed (like toilet vent pipes). Oh, AND the design allows you to double them up to go further up the rafter bay. I have a more shallow roof and I needed to do two per bay so I can get all 22" of fiberglass insulation in below the baffle openings. The only things that sucks about Smart Baffle is the price. To do my small 1000sq ft attic, I had to buy two boxes and I've spent alot more money than I'd hoped to. But these are absolutely the best product for working with an existing installation from the attic side. Highly recommend.

Expensive but decent product
Quality is good, I installed with t50 staples in a new attic space. My only complaint is that they aren't a bit longer, by the time I bent them down at the bottom of the bay, I was about 8 inches to a foot short on top. I live in a cold climate so I'm installing at least 18 inches of blow in, so maybe in a warmer climate this wouldn't be a problem.I found the shipping charge pretty steep as well.

It's a quality Product!
After installing a few I was able to catch on regarding trimming them for the rafters. I used a Milwaukee battery operated stapler which made it very easy.Although expensive, it was a very needed product to help with the inflow for proper attic cooling.

Best venting product I’ve ever used.
It’s just plastic and it’s expensive but really it’s a great product for your venting needs. It is easily modified for weird angles and is very durable. Sprayed with closed cell foam it really locked in for me. Highly recommended for any new or remodels. 5 stars.

Bought several times
I have used these several times. I originally thought they were expensive and only bought the bare minimum I needed. But after trying to use cheaper options I realized they are worth the cost, saved so much time on my install.

Only received half my order
Only received 30 when I ordered 60. One side of the package was damaged which punctured 2 holes in one of the sheets.

The best baffle that i found
All of them bend toward the roof in the middle. i will need to install 1 x 2 in the middle of each one. That is the reason i gave 4 stars.
