Exactly what we needed
Love this tower. It feels really sturdy and our toddler is obsessed with being up at the counter with us now. The height is just right, it feels safe, and it’s easy to move around and tuck out of the way when we’re done. Overall, great quality and totally worth it – definite five stars from us.

Perfect for the Little "Helpers"
I bought this Kitchen Helper for my Granddaughter. She absolutely loves it and so does her Mom! It is perfect for when she wants to see what Mommy is doing and of course to "help" her. I wish they had this when my kids were little!

Very stable, functional. ++ Easy to clean off despite being white! High price point, though we don’t regret purchasing.

Not for the climbing child
Works good if your child isnt a climber. I bought this out of necessity because my daughter wouldn't stop climbing on the handles of our kitchen drawers to see what we were doing. I unfortunately did not anticipate that she would use the shapes cut out on the side as foot-holds to climb onto the counter. I took 2 stars off for safety as I feel like many children would do this. I know guidecraft sells one that doesnt have the shapes, wish I bought that one instead. The white is nice but it does show all the food and crumbs very quickly. I also leave the screen open at all times and my 15 month old leaned how to get in and out safely very quickly which is nice for me, I don't have to lift her in and out all the time.

Such a great product!
I couldn't love this Kitchen Helper more. My son is 18 months old and very interested in what's going on above the counter in our kitchen. However, he's well past the age of wanting to sit in his high chair to observe. This has been the most wonderful tool for me to get dinner on the table! He loves to get into his tower and watch what I'm doing. It puts him at the perfect height to observe, but he easily gets out of it by himself. So, he's able to come and go as he wants and feels like this is sufficient for me to pay attention to him, see what I'm doing and then do something else. He loves being able to reach the counter. He wants to eat his snacks standing in this, plays with bowls and spoons while I cook, and just likes being at a higher level to chat with us. I don't have the Learning Tower to compare, but I wouldn't pay the extra money for it. The Guidecraft is easy to clean - I bought white and have had no issues with the paint coming off like the some other reviewers have shared. I use regular kitchen cleaner to wipe it down and the glossy finish makes it very easy for things to just wipe right off. The biggest reason I bought this one over the Learning Tower is because it folds up. There is a pin that the manufacturer recommends putting on the step, making it where you have to remove the screw to fold the tower up - but, I don't put the screw in place. It's very sturdy without it in there and it's only purpose is so that my toddler couldn't fold it up himself. There's no chance my 18 month old could do that - and I don't think any child could while actually in the tower. So, it folds super easy and can be tucked away when not in use.
