There’s a nice feel to these attractive scissors and they do everything advertised; however I didn’t find them handy for cutting finger and toe nails. The bottom blade is a little too thick for that or maybe I need to work on my skill set. I also would not recommend them for cutting cardboard boxes. They do better than regular scissors but not nearly as well as bladed box cutters. The “crush garlic” claim is certainly correct if you realize the idea is to lightly crack the garlic skin and then peel it off. Crushing the garlic doesn’t work for me except in a garlic press. The best way to peel garlic is to use a garlic roll (available at Amazon and elsewhere).I actually got these “Perf3ct” scissors to cut open the hard plastic that many products come in including these scissors, and to use in my garden. They cut through the hard plastic with relative ease, and they cut through a quarter inch palm frond stem with a bit of effort. Anything smaller was easy.The real test may come when the scissors get dull and have to be sharpened. I was counting on the hype for these scissors to be true. I needed to cut letters out of cardboard shipping boxes and knew my regular scissors would probably not be strong enough. I started cutting with these and gave up after only 1 minute. They were sticking, hard to press, just a mess. It ripped more than it cut. I finished the project with scissors that are way less intense and cheaper. Maybe I will try them on thick stems and see if they work this spring, but they'll stay in the drawer until then. What a waste of money!

A great pair of sizzors. I was at a loss when my kitchen sizzors stopped cutting. I had had the for about 10 years and decided to sharpen them. Well, I ruined them by doing it backwards. Time for a new pair. Theese sizzors seemed different and when I read all the glowing reviews I thought to give them a try. They work great. Today will be the ultimit test, chicken bone. They are easy to use and I know I will have them for years. I am going to order a couple more for my daughters. There is a slight drawback. I used to use the can opener part to pop the lid on things, to make them easier to open. On this one the can opener is a little too thick and I can't wedge it under the lid. It is a minor inconvience. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Ladies...be warned...these are MAN SCISSORS!! They are HEAVY and awkward and difficult to use! I bought them for kitchen use but was frustrated with everything I used them for. Definitely not for chicken bone crushing (not without blisters, that is). I was also hoping to use them in crafting. Not! My adult daughter is a lefty and she was unable to make them work. Definitely not the "Perfect Scissors "!

I tried to cut through zip ties and had a hard time but they finally worked. They worked very effectively for cutting through the hard plastic packaging around some products. As advertised, the scissors are good for a variety of uses which I have not had the opportunity to try yet.

Only God is perfect, but these are pretty good. My only problem is that I cannot find the perfect home for them - shop? kitchen? office? Right now they are in my office. Very good scissors.

not easy to use on certain things.

I like buying tools designed to perform well and "Perfect Scissors" have exceeded expectations. I appreciate the ergonomic considerations and the pain free use while opening vacuum packed and sealed clam-shell packaging.At his writing, I've purchased a second time. Would hate to lose these and find out they were no longer available. Currently considering purchasing as gifts for friends and service providers that perform above and beyond. Its a unique and practical gift that will last many years, and remind recipients I appreciate them.I've purchased and destroyed other brands. Not the case if they'd been designed as well as these.Buy them without regret.
