I was looking for lithium ion battery storage for my concentrator batteries when flying. There are FAA rules for making sure the batteries are stored safely in carry-on baggage. I was not sure if I could fit two extended size batteries in these because the dimensions were not exactly a match, but because of the velcro closure I thought there might be a few mm forgiveness. They worked perfectly. With these two battery storage bags I can bring four extra batteries on the plane! Thank goodness for velcro.

The material is fire retardant but flames and debris can easily escape these bags. If these Derblue battery bags are used as a second layer of protection inside a bigger battery bag that has a zipper I would give them 5 stars and say they're good bags for that purpose. I gave these bags 4 stars for my intended use of them though because one of the two battery bags I received has bad stitching on one of the front corners of the lid. These are good battery bags however, if they were to be used by themselves for charging or storage I would only give them 2 stars because they only have a large velco strip across the front to hold the lid down but they do not have a zipper. If a battery caught fire or exploded, the flames and debris could very easily come out both sides of the top of these bags and catch something on fire. If you have these bags in a backpack or in the back of a vehicle, a 2 or 3 cell battery could possibley work its way out. If you have small 1 cell batteries in these bags they could definitely fall out. Each of these Derblue battery bags can hold 2 MJX Bugs 2 batteries, but for safety, LiPo batteries should be charged & stored separately so I recommend putting only one battery per bag. One MJX Bugs 2 battery fits perfectly in each of these Derblue battery bags. I will be buying another pair of these Derblue battery bags so I can safely & securely store 4 batteries in the Hobbymate bag. I hope this doesn't appear to be a bad revue because I do recommend these Derblue battery bags as a second layer of protection.

These are definitely a must have for fire safety for charging and storing any lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries you own for your RC's or Airsoft. Bags are small and convenient. Velcro seals are high quality, and I'm able to run battery and charger cables out the corner. They also fit perfectly in an ammo can for storage. I hope I never have to test their fireproofing, but I'm glad I have a pair just in case.

I like these much better than the flat, pouch type bags, as they give some air space around the battery while it's charging. Really nice units! I purchased the two pack, which is perfect for me right now, as I'm just getting into RC Trucks and I currently have a single 1/10 scale F450 dually w/2 batteries. The battery fits easily inside, the flap closes and latches with "Hook-'n-Loop" and then the cables stick out through the end of the flap to connect to your charger.

They're just good ol fashion lipo bags. Nothing fancy. No issues.
