Works with tall valve covers
Worked fairly well as is to move the alternator out a little past the factory driver side mounting position to allow for belt adjustment when using tall valve covers. I added a 1/2 nut as a spacer between the 2 bracket pieces to get the alternator even further away from my tall valve covers. Works great with a belt 2 inches longer than the factory belt.

Chevy Short water pump "altinator" bracket's
Came fast. Welds are not pretty, but should hold and probably won't be noticable. This is for a short water pump engine.

Great piece for a customer Alt Setup
I cut this down for what I used it for. Custom Alt setup on a TPI corvette to delete the AIR pump system and bracket. Works great.
