The best space heater ever -
I bought this space heater last January and it has been great. It can be confusing at first to use the controls but you'll catch on right away. It starts on higher temps and you have to push the button on the top of the heater to get it to cycle to the lower temps and run on low.I prefer the "gold" color, (which does not have a remote) as they call it, as opposed to the "beige", which is more of a light green and has a remote. I saw this heater on Consumer Reports and it was rated fairly high at $64 - so I found it on Amazon for $58. Then a couple weeks later it went up to $64 or maybe $68 and has remained there until the last week.I really do like this heater - so much so I bought a second one a month ago even tho I don't NEED a second one. I like to have a spare of things that I need and use in case the original one breaks and they are no longer selling that model ... This time I bot an open box one from Amazon for $28!! I was absolutely thrilled because I love this heater. I have run a dog shelter and have run 3 space heaters at a time in their common room (my basement), of all sizes and brand names in the last 10 years so I am quite familiar with space heaters. Of course it is different when you are picking a space heater out that will be around dogs - where you look for tip over safety, stability, even ability to tie a heater so it won't get knocked over and other features. I do know when a heater's thermostat works properly (which is necessary whether in a dog shelter room or whether up in my den with no dogs or children). This is heater is perfect for my den, both in looks and function. The base of this heater is quite stable. I like the style and the fact can oscillate. I recommend this heater.

Good looking, nice little heater!
Living in Connecticut with the second highest electric rates in the country, the last thing I wanted to do was buy an electric space heater, believe me!!! I did not want baseboard heat in my newly finished master bathroom so I never installed heat there, I bought this and I am pleased to say it works great! Most times I just put it on max and have it oscillate and it does not take long to heat up a small space. When my pellet stove auger broke, I use this in my Master Bedroom that is approximately 14‘ x 18‘ and set the temperature at 65° and had oscillate and this little guy performed nicely. I have a feeling all of these heaters run at 1800 W, I guess the trick is to find the one that makes the best use of it. I recommend this, I think I paid about $50 for this on sale, not sure what it is today as I bought it in October 2024. Don’t regret this purchase, glad I bought it, it does the trick when needed and is very quiet. Oh yeah, looks good too, I have the tan colored version.

My objectives when I purchased it were to provide a cost effective method for heating this room which would be pretty much balan
I purchased my Lasko 6435 heater about 2 years ago to provide heat to a 12' x 14' room that I spend quite a bit of time in. It also allows me to lower the overall heat of the house but keep this room at 70 degrees in the winter time which is about 6 months long where I live.My objectives when I purchased it were to provide a cost effective method for heating this room which would be pretty much balanced out by lowering my house thermostat by a few degrees. Thus effectively getting comfortable living just for the minimal cost of the heater and no to very little extra cost in my energy bill. Since I am on a pretty fixed budget I thought this would be a good investment to make. Results :I use the Lasko on High with a setting of 70 degrees and it is on 24 x 7 in the winter. For temperature control with 70 degrees set I find the temp runs between 72 - 68 degrees. Thus it turns on at 68 and runs until the room is 72 degrees. It takes between 10 - 15 minutes for each cycle. Thus on a daily basis it runs about 4 - 6 hours a day. It is rated at 1500 watts for high but I believe based on what I did in research that that high rating is closer to 1300 watts.Energy Analysis -Given that it runs 4 - 6 hours per day at 1300 watts my costs per month are approximately as follows. 6 - 9kw's per day x 30 days or 180 - 270 kw's per month. My energy cost is about .11 per kw + .02 for distribution or .13 per kw. So based on this my monthly cost runs between - $23.40 to $35.10 or so about a $1 a day.Recommendation -This product runs quiet and in my opinion very efficiently. It meets the needs that I purchased the Lasko for and have had no service problems at all with the unit. I feel good using this method to use the same amount of power but be more comfortable.Pros -* Energy Efficient ( note this is for radiant heat for a small space as a supplement to an HVAC system )* Quiet and I really like the oscillator function .. I think it is effective in heating the area* Looks much nicer than a typical space heaterCons -* I really don't think I needed to pay for the remote - I never use it but for some it may be niceI hope this review is helpful .. if it is please let me know.
