This elbow brace was a lifesaver during my pregnancy when I struggled with carpal tunnel symptoms. I wore it mostly at night, and it was surprisingly comfortable—soft enough not to irritate my skin but firm enough to provide the support I needed. I had no problems at all with this brace. It was easy to install and comfortable to wear as it does bend slightly. I felt the price was fair. It arrived same or next day so that was fast enough and in three days my elbow was feeling much better after just allowing myself to be in pain forever. The pain got so bad I ordered the brace then I went all out with ice and heat with a tens and either pain rub or a lidocaine patch. I wore the brace when I slept and when I wasn’t doing some other therapy. This helped me avoid PT.

I was impressed by how well made the product is for the price. There was a comfortable inner sleeve and a strong outer sleeve with the option of adding 1 or 2 metal supports. The brace was comfortable to put on and easy to adjust. I had found that my left elbow would hurt, like tennis elbow in my right arm that I had felt before. The pain was always worst in the AM, like I had slept on that left elbow wrong. First I tried with the metal supports in and then without them. I found that I had trouble doing anything that required two hands while wearing it, with or without the support. I also have a CPAP machine and I wear a CPAP mask while sleeping. I put on the brace and found that I had to take it back off again in order to get the CPAP mask on. With the metal supports in, I found the brace painful enough that I only wore it for an hour or two. Without the supports, I was able to sleep through the night but my arm hurt quite a bit the next am. It hurt enough that I did not have the motivation to try it another night. I doubt that if it hurt that much the first night, that this sort of support was not going to make things better.

Great elbow brace! Awesome alternative to the more expensive ones. However, could only wear for 8 hours then needed a break. Can be washed, once the metal bars are easily removed. Velcro is very durable.

Finding an effective elbow brace for cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar nerve compression at the elbow "funny bone") seems to be a challenge. This is my second and I will write a review shortly about my third. This brace is useful for me during the day time because it prevents me from resting my elbow on the desk and keeps my arm fairly straight. I wear it with the metal splints at the sides because I want to avoid having the splint apply pressure to the ulnar nerve where it traverses the cubital tunnel at the elbow. With the splints at the side, I can bend my elbow to about 90 degrees but the brace applies pressure to straighten my arm when I exceed about 45 degrees. If I am doing things where I need to bend my elbow more, I loosen the straps. When I want the brace to keep my elbow straighter I tighten them. The inside is lined with very nice soft material, the straps are stretchy, and with the metal splints at the sides I find this very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The velcro used on this brace loses its stick faster than traditional velcro. Unlike traditional velcro that has relatively long hooks, the hook side of this velcro is a plastic strip with extremely short hooks. These don't hold as well as traditional velcro and get clogged with just a small amount of fluff and hair, then stop working. I tried cleaning the velcro using duct tape, a number of different brushes, and even a small pick to lift and remove the fluff and hairs, but the velcro did not regain its ability to stick well. After only two months of use I am going to have to sew on some traditional velcro (hook side) onto the straps, particularly the middle one. With the splints at the sides, when I bend my elbow there is a lot of pressure on the middle strap and the velcro often lets go. This occurs when I use my arms to do things like lie down in bed, reach to scratch an itch, etc. The velcro on the middle strap also lets go while I sleep, presumably when I move around in my sleep. I have noted this brace as useful for daytime because during the day I need some flexibility, but the brace inhibits me from leaning on my elbow and bending it excessively. Better yet, I can adjust how much I can bend my elbow by how tight I do up the straps. At night, I need a brace that keeps my elbow straighter than this brace is able. It is easy to sleep with my elbow bent 90 degrees or more while wearing this brace. That's because if I bend my elbow then the bedding holds it bent despite the brace applying pressure to straighten, and because the velcro on the middle strap comes undone, alleviating a lot of the pressure to keep the elbow straight. I have found that if I rotate the brace about 20 degrees then the brace keeps my elbow straighter, but unless I get the position exactly right a metal splint applies pressure on the side of a bones at my elbow. While that does not affect the ulnar nerve, it is uncomfortable. If you are seeking a brace that holds the elbow rigidly in one position (straight or almost straight) without applying pressure to the ulnar nerve, then this is not a good choice. If you are seeking a brace the allows the elbow to bend somewhat but that tends to keep the elbow straighter (e.g. less than 90 degree bend) then this works fairly well except for the velcro losing its stick. I gave this only 3 stars because the velcro loses its stick too soon and it allows my elbow to bend more than I would like while I sleep.

I've been brutally suffering with an Ulnar Nerve Compression (pinched nerve in the elbow) for a couple of months already and nothing seemed to work. I've tried a handful of different "Tennis elbow braces" as well as a few homemade contraptions in the hopes something ... anything ... would work to ease the pain and discomfort, but nothing seemed to work. I thought there had to be something out there that would work so started digging around the internet and came a cross a few similar looking braces that looked like they would be exactly what I needed. The prices however were easily 3 to 4 times more expensive than this one not including extravagant shipping fees from the U.S. This brace has been a godsend for me! Oh sure I still have pain and discomfort while I wait to have surgery sometime soon, but this brace has really helped keep my arm from bending too much and is actually quite comfortable to wear and adjust. For $25.99, it was the best money I've spent on an elbow brace I've been wearing steadily since getting it very quickly from Amazon. Trust me, this is the elbow brace you need and want! As a former Medic in the military, I can say with the utmost confidence this brace surpassed all expectations and provides the perfect protection and support you need for your elbow at a price that can't be beaten!
