Q: Forgive my ignorance, how is this used in swimming? Do we place between our legs? if so, how do we kick then? Please educate me on this one. Thanks !

Hi there! The pull buoy's dimensions: 5 1/2" x 9 1/4" (give or take 1/8"). This particular design is MUCH better than the buoys with equal sized ends. Swim with the larger end of the buoy facing up...towards the ceiling. I hope my response is helpful to you. :)
