Product description Unlike all the other Hollywood cyberthrillers, Strange Days gets a fabulous original soundtrack loaded with intense, angular tunes that are strictly future tense. The sensational "Selling Jesus" by U.K. newcomers Skunk Anansie kicks things off with a roar, actress Juliette Lewis does a fine job with P.J. Harvey's "Hardly Wait," and there's strong material from Tricky, Lords of Acid, Lori Carson, and Prong with Ray Manzarek (doing The Doors' "Strange Days"). Deep Forest's "Coral Lounge" has more energy than any four tunes on its latest album combined, and that group's collaboration with Peter Gabriel ("While the Earth Sleeps") is a high-energy stormer. --Jeff Bateman .com Unlike all the other Hollywood cyberthrillers, Strange Days gets a fabulous original soundtrack loaded with intense, angular tunes that are strictly future tense. Great album; Pirated CD
From what I can tell, this album is out of print and can't be downloaded in its entirety from iTunes/Apple Music or Amazon MP3 Store anymore. So I dug around and found the album from a third-party seller on Amazon.com. The album itself is great! Great for people who have an eclectic taste in music, and appreciate multiple styles. 5 stars. But this is absolutely a counterfeit CD. It's a very well-done counterfeit, but 100% counterfeit nonetheless. The front and back inserts + the label covering the CD were made with a laser printer, and are not the same kind of paper that is used in normal, first-party CDs. 1 star for being a knock-off.

Depends upon you
If you live a narrow-scoped lifestyle, this album isn't for you. If you love only metal, you'll hate this album. If you love only rap, you'll hate this album. If you love only ambience, you'll hate this ablum. Strange Days has a mixture of everything just to [anger] the average listener. You need to be open-minded and accepting of all musical genres in order to appreciate this blend of music. There is no theme. This is no particular style. There is nothing dependable. Get over it and decide if you can appreciate more than one type of music. All entries are equally intruiging, but none are alike. Nothing is great, but nothing is terrible. The angry track by Jeriko One is probably the most intersting piece to this soundtrack, but that is (perhaps) because it plays such a significant role in the film. Deep Forest, Prong and Graeme Revell contribute powerful additions that the top 40 would overlook due to Generation-I-only-listen-to-music-I-can-dance-to exclude themselves to.This soundtrack is more fun than that, yet it deserves only 3 stars considering it does not stand out and say "My God, I HAVE to own that!"Strange Days, however, is a nice addition to any music-[lover's] collection.

The Strange Experience
It gives me the spirit of the movie Strange Days. Im more of futuristic lissoner. But this album has a diecent postmodern grunge\sleasy techno beat to it. All thanks to the combination of "Lords Of Acid" "and I was dumb not to have the actual album in front of me, or els my review would have bin more specifc". PS: It is not often that I do review's. Muisic would be the first thing I have actualy reviewed and sent to the public. I dont know if my spelling alone is "poor".

You can't get everything on iTunes but you can on Amazon.
I lost the hard drive on my Mac. It was old so iTunes match wasn't associated with it. So of course I lost tons of music, especially downloaded discs. This was one of them and I have no idea where the cd disappeared to. The movie was entertaining but the music was, is great. And it isn't available on iTunes.

A few gems make this worth buying.
Not a very memorable soundtack, overall, but it's few gems make it worth buying. The first track (by Shunk Anansie) is...eh, no biggie. The 2nd track (by Lords Of Acid, whom I love!), is good but not one of their more notable tunes. Same with the first song by Deep Forest...it's good, but - eh. And the songs by Strange Fruit, Lori Carson, Satchel, Hate Gibson, etc.... these are little-known artists who have lended mediocre pieces for this album. However, this CD also contains "Overcome" by Tricky (Love it!!), and "Hardly Wait" by actress/singer Juliette Lewis (who can really sing, and delivers a beautiful but fierce performance!), as well as a cover version of The Doors' "Strange Days" (which features original Doors keyboardist, Ray Manzarek), and - last but certainly not least, an amazing song by Deep Forest with Peter Gabriel, entitled "While The Earth Sleeps". This song has not been included on any previous album by either Deep Forest or Peter Gabriel, so I suspect it is exclusive to this CD.These 4 songs, alone, are reason enough to buy this CD....especially now since used copies are so inexpensive, it really should be in your collection. ;)

Great Compilation
Songs totally capture the tone of the movie; definitely suits the film and it's a great standalone work. Highlty recommend it for anyone into the dance, rock, easy listening, and hip-hop genre.
