DEFLECTAIR() - Wind Deflector for BMW Z3 Convertible - Clear

I was afraid this might look a little hokey, but once installed it's pretty "transparent" (see what I did there?). It's easy to install and it does take good care of backdraft and makes driving at speed with the top down a lot more pleasant. If you additionally roll the windows up, it's even nicer (But people will point and laugh -- but screw those guys, you're the one with the BMW Z3. Haha!).

I don't review a lot of products on Amazon, but I felt compelled to review this one. A friend recommended that I purchase a wind screen for my 2000 BMW M Roadster. I did homework on the available products and finally decided on the Deflectair. It turned out to be an excellent decision. First of all, having the wind screen makes a HUGE difference for cabin comfort. It really keeps the noise and wind turbulence to a minimum. Even works great for that crisp morning drive where the top is down and the heater is on -- the heat stays in the cabin! I was very pleased with my purchase of Deflectair. It took a little longer to get it because it is manufactured in Canada and has to ship across the border, but it was well worth wait. Installation couldn't have been easier. The product is great. I highly recommend it. And I have to say that it really cuts down on the wind noise. I can use my hands free on my cell phone through the car radio now!

Excellent product - had a mesh deflector I was looking to replace. The car now looks cleaner and there is less wind noise.There was a small issue on the front end (ordered two, only received one). Their team immediately responded to emails and put the product in the mail the same day.Highly recommend if you are looking for a wind deflector.

I was surprised by how much difference this made.I always took my hat off if driving on the freeway with the top down. Also, made sure I put anything lite into the trunk. Otherwise you could count on it getting sucked out and be gone forever.With this deflector you can actually feel that that air is more still. I can wear a hat if I want and not worry about it; which is pretty nice on a bright sunny day.

Deflector is well designed and made from high quality material. Looks and works great!

I have mixed reviews about this product. If top down and windows are down, I experience no change in wind draft. If the windows are up, the wind still provides a draft but a lot less than without deflector. And the wind direction on a specific day affects the intended results of this product. The claims made are from results taken down in sunny southern Florida. Not in a worse case place such as Chicago or Michigan.

Great product easy to install

Bought 2 Deflectair. They were gifts Both recipients loved them. Not only are they sturdy and quality made, both arrived at their destinations ahead of schedule. Giftees' said they work wonderfully, much less wind AND noise. Great service!
