Great little dehumidifier
The Midea Cube 50 pint dehumidifier is the easiest one you can buy. Works great in the common area of my home and removes exess moisture from the air. It's really quiet and blends into the surrounding.

Great Product!
I bought this dehumidifier to replace the other one that I bought (Waykar 2000 Sq. Ft) and it collects about twice the amount of water at around 72-74°F room temperature compared to the old one and is about 5-8 dB quieter when comparing the low fan setting.I have it hooked up to a condensate pump to help regulate the humidity in our living space located in the basement. It is able to keep it around 50% without having to run constantly when in "Set" mode and 50% target. It is easy to use and the app makes it easy to set automations and regulate the fan speed (low for night and high for day).I like the size of the unit especially when you want to store it and you can put the dehumidifier in the tank to reduce the height.Overall, a great purchase. Good quality, efficient, easy to use and remote access & automations through the app.

Works well, has a large condensate bucket, and easy to use.
I use this to keep my 2.5 car, detached garage dry. My garage is more of a storage unit and wood working shop. I have many things in it that don't react well to high humidity, to include just growing mold. This took over when my old one finally died. It has a 3 gallon tank, which is awesome because I don't have to empty it every single day. The controls are easy to use and understand. I thought I had purchased the one with a pump because I had intended on using it without needing the bucket. I messed up there. However, it keeps the garage at the humidity level I desire. The large tank has wheels, which makes it easy to empty. The tank has a sight glass so you can see the level, but it doesn't have a float in it to make it easy to see. I have been using it for several months now, but that isn't long enough to determine its reliability. My last one (different make and model) lasted for more than 10 years and it ran constantly (broken humidistat). So this one has a high standard to live up to. I hope I never have to update this review for many years to come.

Auto restarts after power outage!
Been in continuous operation since May 2025 inside a 25ft RV in humid, central Florida. Approx 175sqft and 1200cuft space. Maintains RV ~ 50% RH to prevent mold during storage. Uses 4kWh per day avg but varies between 3-5kWh depending on ambient humidity. I found I had to set it to 45% RH to keep the RV 50-55% RH.Used in conjunction with a box fan to circulate air and drains continuously to the open gray tank.Best feature is that it automatically restarts after every power outage. Longevity unknown so I bought the protection plan. So far, I’m pleased with its performance. Will update if it fails at 1yr like others have reported.

Effective at Removing Humidity
After reading reviews on the Consumer Reports website, I decided to purchase this dehumidifier—and I’m glad I did. With all the rain we’ve had this year, my house was starting to smell moldy, but this unit works great at removing excess humidity. The noise level is about like a fan—not too bad—but since I keep it in the downstairs living area of my split foyer home, I sometimes turn it off to better hear the TV, take phone calls, or sleep. Some days the sound is relaxing, other days it’s a bit distracting.Since I’m not using the automatic drain feature, I empty the water manually when the tank is full. The tank is located in the lower half of the unit and can be pretty heavy when full. At 65 and with arthritis, I can manage it, but it’s not completely effortless. Overall, it’s an effective unit for keeping indoor humidity under control.

Amazing performance
I bought two of these to try to knock down the ~67% winter humidity in my Florida house, which sits next to the water. This can occur for a month or so where the temps drop but outdoor humidity remains in the 80%+ range. I can't run the A/C because it's already mid 60's indoors, so I thought let's try dehumidifiers.I set one up on each side of the house and set the HVAC to just run recirculate for ten minutes of each hour. Within six hours both units had pulled over a gallon of water each out of the air and dropped the house humidity almost 10%. By morning the house was down to 50% humidity, towels in the bathrooms were already dry where normally a shower would leave them damp until the next afternoon, it felt so much better.I've found a spot for one where it can continuous drain into a utility sink, but the other has such a massive bucket that it won't require emptying probably more than once a week now that the initial knock-down has been completed. Keep in mind that bucket size. If you do let it fill completely, you're talking about 40+ pounds of water. Fortunately the console and the phone app both allow you to configure it to do a high water shut off far earlier than the physical bucket becoming full, if you want to stop it at 25%, 50%, 75% for weight reasons. It defaults to the lowest setting, so if you plug the thing in without further configuration, it's going to auto shut off at maybe ten pounds of water, far earlier than it would have to if you do want it to fill the bucket. They are loud, have no doubt about that. These are large dehumidifiers designed to tackle thousands of square feet, so they have a large compressor and evaporator grid, and a large fan to pull a lot of air through. Even in low mode they put out a good bit of noise. It's not an annoying noise though; I slept fine with one of them fifteen feet from me in the same room, but those sensitive to any amount of elevated volume may not like it even if it does sound like white noise. The base comes with casters in case you want to wheel them around a hard floor; may make it easy to wheel one over to a step-in shower for emptying if you don't want to lug 40 pounds of water by the handle.
