Digger Anchor

We are on our 3rd boat of our adult lives. This is my favorite anchor yet. Not too heavy to haul in a small boat, but has great gripping power. We have used it in Puget Sound against the very strong tide and current, and on the lake while hanging out. Awesome anchor. The only reason for taking a star off, some of the black powder coat is chipping after 2 weeks of use. Need to get some rustoleum on those spots so they don't rust

Best anchor I've ever owned. I'm no baby 61. Been threw a lot different ones. We were on the river when it was high and fast and it held great . Ive a 16ft bass boat.

False advertising! I received the Digger II which is the 12lb model for 17ft boats. It does NOT have the release mechanism. Although the listing makes no mention of having the release mechanism, it does imply it by describing it as the 12.5lb version for 20ft. boats. As per the Digger website the 12.5lb version for 20ft boats has the release mechanism. I sent 2 emails to Digger a week ago and have since received no response. Amazon tried to resolve it by sending me another anchor but it is also the Digger II. This listing is misleading. I would have never ordered this version D-II. I haven't used the anchor so, I can't review if it is a good anchor or not. I give it 1 star since the anchor you will receive is not as advertised. I attached a screenshot from Digger's website that will show what you will actually receive.

I haven't had to reset my anchor once with this. Sure it's a big pontoon and it might drift a little and I did put on 4' of chain for good measure.Love my digger....I'll never go back.

Great anchor

Received this anchor a couple days ago and was excited that it was gonna be a good one.i tried to set it at least a dozen times and never once got a bite. Just drags along the bottom. I even drifted about an 1/8 of a mile letting it drag and nothing... I even tried 100 ft of rope to get a better angle. Wish I still had my $50 so could get something different.
