design problems
I have to disagree with the glowing reviews for this light by giving it 2 stars based on poor switch operation, an overly bright red light, odd battery usage, and dimensions that rule out effective use on alot of pistols. The switch logic is overly complicated and there are no directions on the complicated cycle: be prepared to sit down with pen & paper & write down all the possible combinations of red+white and once you stumble onto the strobe feature GOOD LUCK remembering the sequence you pushed to get there. The red light is over-the-top way too bright for the intended purpose of seeing a few steps in front of you in complete darkness; instead, its brighter than Rudolph's nose and will light you up like a lead reindeer. The choice of power cells (CR2) means more hassle finding replacements / CR123As would have been much better choice, adding minimal size/weight and adding life/output. I bought this to mount on a shotgun, but tried it on my Glock 19 and you are forced to mount it in such a way you can no longer use an effective grip (finger wrap around front of trigger guard) AND can barely get to the switch. If I had bought this for G19-sized pistol I would be returning it. Maybe the spacing would work out better on pistols with alot more under-barrel rail surface, but then you still have the switch logic problem. Compare this to a Streamlight TLR-2 for the best pistol light switch function. This thing was designed to incorporate a laser as evidenced by the laser warning sticker that came on mine (not pictured on Amazon) and the zeroing adjustments at 3 and 6'oclock on the bottom that serve no function. OK, so they re-purposed it to have the red light in place of laser because of some manufacturing problem with fitment of the laser, I get it. Pros = fairly low cost (still not cheap) + seemingly solid construction, and I like the design of the included pressure switch. Once I have tested it on a Mossberg 500 under high-brass recoil I will add another note as to how it handled it and will bump it up a star if it stayed on and still works afterward.

VERY IMPRESSED but temote switch?
Very impressed with initial install, I will have to follow up 45 days with a report. The light is Very bright, as bright as my scout on another. Thumb to toggle switch for red light (on my setup), also bright. Solid build, look's unique. Think I'm going to be very happy.Follow up:Remote Switch issues...The switch is unreliable, seller replaced entire unit for me, but I still have issue with it. If my life depended on it, I would trash it.They need to go back to engineering and diagnose this issue because it's a very nice light.Fortunately, my life does not depend on this particular weapon so I'm keeping the light.Having said that I'll give it 4/5. If your life depends on it, I'll give it a 1/5...Very nice light, great seller. You decide.Ty

It is light weight...adequately bright and and I love the ability to have it controlled by a remote switch further back.
I ordered this light to attach to a newly built rifle because I was looking for something small, affordable and good looking. When it first arrived I was a little disappointed that I couldn't try it out right away because it only shipped with one batter instead of 2. I contacted the seller and they were quick to get me a credit so that I could order another battery. After a few days of waiting for the battery to come in I was finally able to try it out. This thing is terrific! It is light weight...adequately bright and and I love the ability to have it controlled by a remote switch further back on the hand rail. On top of all that, it looks really great on my gun build. I will be recommending this product to some of my friends that are into guns and will definitely be buying another one for my next gun build for my father.

Cheap, Chinese build
Product felt cheap right out of the box. Poorly assembled battery cover caused intermittent light dropout as it wiggled around. The design appears to be adequate but the materials and QA make this a forty dollar paperweight.Alas, this product didn't survive long enough even to get to the range for a test-run - but long enough to be un-returnable - lesson learned.

So far so good. Lights are definitely bright enough the white looks good, and the red projects just enough to see where your walking in the dark but not give away your position from afar.

and a toggle bar make for an awesome light system
Gotta tell you. A momentary switch, a steady switch, and a toggle bar make for an awesome light system. Works with both or either light in either mode. PERFECT for what I was looking for. If I wanted 6 billion lumens, I'd look for a Nuc device. Mounts perfectly, survived my first day of many iterations and rounds in a rough weapons platform. Come on, for this price? I'll be getting another one soon.

Good quality product
Good quality product. Lights are both bright and switches and pressure switch feel quality. Also like that it's a veteran owned company and was easy to install and remove if needed.
