Good stuff
Fairly easy install. Seems to have a good thermostat. Not very loud, slight hum. I will probably order another to go into my shop.

GREAT!!
So far so good. Got this to vent the top of a chicken coop. It is pretty powerful in the sun - much more powerful than any other solar powered fan/vent I've tried. I have an extension cord I can hook up to it, but I haven't needed it. It's kept the temperature inside the coop pretty inline with what it is outside the coop, which is pretty impressive. Unfortunately it's still been SO HOT out that the ambient temp isn't much of a relief.

Very good fan for the price point, quiet and efficient, seems well built. Excellent output.
Good fan, fairly quiet. Light weight blades with very solid housing. Hard wired! White black and green ground screw. Used an old extension cord so I could just plug it in directly to an outlet. I am using it as a residential garage exhaust fan to aid in removing summer heat. Works just fine. I believe it is rated at 2300 CFM. Thermometer is analog versus digital. Had issue with start up and customer service was easy to get ahold of and work with. But it was my start up procedure. I set the temp to 95-100 F. Then powered off for hours, then plugged back in. It started up when temp got highenough. Previously when I set temp and immediately plugged it in it ran, regardless of temp. Now it turns on and off according to temp.

Working great so far!
Had a 15+ year old attic (roof mounted) fan give out on us and noticed the house feeling a lot warmer than usual. This fan was the proper dimensions and was easy to disconnect it from the housing (that I didn't need). I was then able to connect it to the old fan's housing and support poles without any issues. Even with basic handiwork/electrical knowledge, the whole process was pretty quick and simple. The house feels so much cooler now!!

Very quiet and effective
Great fan with no need to pay an electrician to climb in the attic and run power. I am a roofer and I install these regularly in older homes with improper ventilation. It is easy to install, has a thermostat that I can set, and solar powered so I don't have to get in the attic to wire it up. It is quiet, you really have to check to see if it is running.

Lowered the heat in my attic significantly
I live in Houston TX, and the summer heat is ridiculous. On a sunny day in late April, my attic would reach 110 degrees. In June, 140 degrees is what I'd see on a sunny day in June. Since I installed this vent fan, my attic is at least 15 to 20 degrees cooler. My attic has two opposing gable vents, no soffet vents, no ridge vents and no other active cooling. It was ridiculous. Installation was pretty straightforward. After installation, I lighted a match and blew it out to observe the smoke. From 3 feet away from this fan, you could see that it was pulling a lot of air. The fan comes with a temperature switch so it turns on at whatever temperature you set. I have mine set to 95 degrees. I can hear it from outside standing under it, but inside my home, you have no idea it's running because you can't hear it. It does have a slight rattle to it, again that you can hear outside from below. It's almost enough for me to drop it to 4 stars, but not quite. So it squeaks by to make 5 stars.

Fan blades spun on collar. Both units.
Fan did not last 24 hours. Separated from the collar that locks it on the shaft. 8/27/2026 Update from replacement fan assembly. Still a 1 star. The second fan assembly is just as bad as the first fan and fails at the same exact location. Where the collar clamps to the fan. The manufacturing equipment is not pressing the collar to the fan at a strong enough pressure and what looks to be at an incorrect location as the fan looks like it has a little notches in it. Please see the photo of where I removed the fan assembly and put it in my vice and use a punch to crush the aluminum portion of the collar to the fan. I was not going to return this unit but simply fix it. The fan was nearly free spinning independently from the clamping collar that holds it right out of the box. Once I crushed the aluminum on the collar everything was good and the fan runs fine. See photo with my finger pointing at the collar that I crushed to the fan. Something similar to this but much cleaner should be done at the manufacturing level.

Great fan
Read lots of reviews on this product before buying it. Lots said it was noisy. I purchased the rubber washers and put them on each side of the screws that were touching either metal or wood and it’s quiet. Don’t put it on plywood like they suggest. That’s a horrible idea. Screw it into a 2x4’s then screw those into the 2x4’s on the wall inside your attic so it pushes the heat out. Worked great for me. Wish I had pictures but it was 120 degrees in my attic when I installed mine.

A much needed attic cooling system
This solar attic fan is the greatest. Two metal bars allow you to change the angle of the solar panel for low, medium or high pitch roofs. The built-in thermostat allow adjustment of temperature for when the fan kicks in. This will be our second solar fan. We installed one on the garage a few years back and it not only cools the attic but it saves the asphalt shingles from overheating.

Good product.
It was easy enough to install. Plugged it in, and it has a setting for what temperature you want it to kick in at. Lowered the temperature in the attic by around 5 degrees celcius.

a must to keep your house cooler.
This is a great fan to use in your house or garage attic to help keep your house cooler. Get rid of that HOT air from you attic so it won't go through the ceiling and heat your house.

So far so good
Product was a replacement, so far satisfied but it took a month or more to get it delivered in spite of Amazon prime.
