I ordered this to replace the chap plastic nut on my Dean 12 string. I did have to sand down edges VERY SLIGHTLY after installing, and the nut is a little thinner than the original. The grooves are sized appropriately for each string. Tuning is much easier and more precise. It was an easy, successful, and recommended upgrade.
