Updated review after extended use and testing: these feeders are absolutely perfect for my little zebra finches! They use both the seed feeder and the water feeder. They manage to always get their water filthy and this completely prevents that (note you should hang the water feeder higher than the seed feeder so the seed does not fall into the water)I bought at least 10 different feeding silos, and different seed and water feeders and NONE of them worked or held enough, it was a constant battle!With these DIY feeders my birds are basically completely self sufficient now! I keep joking they don’t need us anymore.It has been 4 days since I last filled them and they still have another 2 days before I will need to fill them again!I used 16oz bottles but also have 1 liter soda bottles on hand to text out as well.I don’t understand the negative reviews and believe they are 100 percent user error.These fit any soda bottle as you can see I used sprite bottles, so even the review stating only Pepsi bottles work is incorrect!One of the feeders comes with a plastic piece that is meant to break off it is the handle piece that breaks off so I’m not sure if that’s what the other negative review was about but I think these are very well made for $6! If they break I will happily purchase another set however they have been just fine so far!These have really saved me so much time every day and also give me peace of mind knowing that my upcoming weekend trip out of town will be worry free with these feeders.

I absolutely love this product, bought it as a gift for my mother who has issues installing the water feeder because of using the wrong type of bottle..... MARK MY WORDS, FOR THE WATER FEEDER THE ONLY BOTTLE THAT WORKED IS A PLASTIC PEPSI BOTTLE!!!! Any other bottle will cause the entirety of the water to rush out. That being said ANY PLASTIC BOTTLE will work for the SEED FEEDER part of this product. I hope this review will help. Thanks

This product is trash!! There are not 2 hummingbird feeder set up. 1 water bottle and 1 dry. So first hummingbirds like red. I have a blue feeder given as gift and they wont drink out of it so a blue sleeve is not good. Then the water will not stay in the bowl it just runs out. Lastly it only has one turn ring on the unit where you attach soda bottle and it barely stays attached. There are no little feeder holes like normal hummingbird feeders the wholes are just that wholes about a nickle in size and not protect from other insects entering the bottle.

The size and design of these was disappointing. If you have birds like cardinals and doves as we do, these are too small for perching. Sunflower seeds do not come out easily and clog up the neck of the soda bottle (which has to be a small Pepsi which you need to supply). To me it was not worth the trouble to assemble (the feeder requires holes to be punched in the top to hold the plastic hanger) and I'm going back to my old tray style.

I just received this cheap plastic pieces that if they could be used, the cost for making these is probably less than a dollar, and the plastic is so thin and frail, they won't hold up to use and the outdoor elements. Tried using the blue waterer piece but the bottom piece won't connect and stay attached to the top piece, so it is unusable. I'm return it and requesting a refund.
