Quick, Reliable with a little rain & wind
I took this on its first 14 day fire assignment hoping not to have to use it but we got rained on off and on the last 5 nights. Setup was perfectly fast, and the locking mechanism some reviewers have had trouble with did just fine for me. It got a bit windy one of the nights, and there aren’t guylines on one side of the tent so it was a bit noisy, but for a “use in a pinch” situation, especially with the price, I think it did great. It’s not super roomy, which I was also fine with to save packing space, but if you’re over 5’7 you should go with a longer tent cause this ain’t for you. Overall, good buy. I think if it was dumping rain AND windy it wouldn’t hold up great but in all other conditions I’ll sing its praises.

Small but reliable
Took this tent on an 760km long canoe trip. It was great.Fast to setup, fast to take down. I had a tarp for a footprint and if it rained water would get under the tent and puddle but it stayed dry inside. I would not get this tent if you’re taller than 6ft because it is small.

Amazing tent!
This tent is absolutely amazing. I have never set up a tent before in my life, so this was my first time doing so. It truly is as simple as folding it out, locking two poles, and pulling a string. I have spent 1 night in this tent already, and it worked exactly as I hoped it would.Setting the tent itself up was by far the easiest part of the entire process. It took me longer to figure out how to set up my sleep pad and inflate it than it did to pop the tent up, set the camp spikes, and attach the rainfly. I also did it completely in the dark with a small flashlight, but I am confident I could do this with absolutely zero light, it's that easy. The tent stakes are thin and weak, so i will be upgrading those as soon as i can. The only downsides i see with this tent is that the rainfly doesn't go all the way to the ground. Part of the tub of the tent is exposed to the elements, which means that if the bottom of your sleeping bag is touching the wall of the tent, it will be soaked if there is precipitation, since the water will transfer through the thin walls. The other issue i have with this is that there are no gear storage areas in the tent itself. A gear loft would have been nice as well as a small pocket in the tent for small items (like phones and flashlights), but it makes sense why this tent doesn't have those features since it was designed to be placed on a cot. One thing that surprised me was that I could actually sit up fully in this tent. I'm 5'10 and about 190, so this tent was perfect for me. Anyone larger than me may have some issues with this and will likely need to stoop a bit, but if you're around my height, you will be fairly comfortable in this tent. Those features while they would be nice to have are not worth a lower rating than 5 stars at this point, since i will likely figure out how to add those myself anyway, or find something else. This tent is a steal for the price, and i highly recommend buying this tent. Someday i will have a cot to attach this tent to, so i will be looking into obtaining the bigger rainfly as soon as possible, but for now i am completely satisfied with this tent. This will serve my needs perfectly for the coming hunting season(s)! Just hope this works out well in the snow and rain, since Western Washington can get a lot of rain at times, and snow is very likely where I will be hunting. All in all, amazing tent, if you're on the fence about buying this, don't be. This tent is worth far more than the asking price, so even at full price this would have been worth it.*Update*I've now spent 2 nights in this tent, and I am still impressed. I did away with my old sleeping pad and got a backpacking cot, and I was able to set it up inside this tent with some difficulty. Still, I was able to do it, and I was able to sleep inside this tent on the cot itself. Yet again though, when I woke up in the morning the bottom of my sleeping bag was wet (didn't penetrate into the interior of the bag), so I will have to put a bag or something over the end of the tent. I'm keeping it set up in my yard and will sleep in it again tonight to see how things go, but I seriously love this tent. It isn't the thickest of materials, but I plan on putting a tarp over this to help keep moisture from forming on the rainfly/tent walls. When I do that, the moisture issue should no longer be a problem. I absolutely love this tent, and I am so glad I bought it.*update*I've finally gotten everything i wanted for myself before taking this tent up into the woods. I added a picture of what my camp would (likely) look like during hunting season (and while hiking). I have 3 solar lights in the trees, a backpacking cot to sleep on, pillow, and a backpacking chair that i will be using. I am very excited that i finally have the stuff i wanted so i can be 100% self sufficient while solor hiking!*final edit*I used this tent for the first time on a hunt in November of 2019, and i still love this tent. Having set up everything, i put a tarp over part of it (tarp too small to cover the entirety of the tent, but that was my issue), and have to say this was amazing to sleep in. It began to rain that night, and i kept dry for the entirety of the night, which was great. This tent was well worth the money, especially since i was able to set it up so quickly, it gave me enough time to set up everything else before the sunlight disappeared. Now, my next item i'm getting is going to be the cot since I'm not wanting to spend as much time setting up my backpacking cot anymore. I can't say enough good things about this tent!
