Fits very nicely and does what it's supposed to! Protect from the sun and heat. Super light and soft material with just enough stretch to be super comfy and just enough structure to keep it's shape! I purchased to take on a 2 day fishing trip last minute knowing my white girl skin would be burned to a crisp even with sunscreen on deck with no shade for hours at a time. I made the mistake of bringing a windbreaker last time to protect myself and might as well have hot glued a trash bag to my skin. This was a breath of fresh air!!! Moisture wicking and breathable it protects from the wind and sun while letting air pass through and keeping you cool and dry (except for that huge wave....but hey, it dries quickly too!) I love it so much I took it with me to the beach the next weekend as well and for once didn't feel like I was having a heat stroke while kayaking! The hood is long and stretchy enough that I was able to pull it up and over my baseball cap to add extra protection to my face as well. Excellent quality all around and the same day shipping saved me when I went to Big 5 and Walmart thinking I would just bite the bullet and pay full retail to pick up a UV shirt the night before my trip and there was NOTHING available.

Let me first start out by saying that the pockets are my favorite part of this jacket. They are deep enough to be meaningful!! I cram everything I can into pockets so, needless to say, when I saw these pockets, I was super excited! The jacket is lightweight, definitely not made for warmth; but it does a nice job of covering your arms from a light breeze or the sun which suited my purpose. I bought the red and it is not true red (definitely has deep pink undertones) but I knew that going into it from another review so I was happy with it. Overall, I would recommend it for the pockets alone but it is also a cute and comfortable jacket.

5' 2", short waisted, 105 lbs. 36B. Normally wear small-medium, size 2-4. I bought a size small (the smallest size they had) in another brand that looked very similar to this one and that one ran way too big. Saw this brand offered XS so tried that and it fit just a little too tight. Exchanged this one for a size small and it's perfect. Love the ice blue color. Fit is flattering. Great light weight jacket.

I love the fit and feel of this jacket so much that I bought a second one in black. Fits true to size, has tons of pockets (including 2 with zippers). It’s light enough to wear on a warm day to protect from the sun and not get overheated. My only issue is that the red is DEFINITELY not red, it’s a dark hot pink color. Cute, but I wanted a red one (baseball team color). I’ll keep it, just beware that the Red is not at all red. Otherwise I’d give 5 stars

So my purpose in purchasing this hoodie was for sun protection and moisture wicking/quick dry abilities for hiking. Cotton clothes don't work so great on hikes due to their tendency to absorb sweat, not wick it away. This item seems to hit all the marks so far. I've worn it as a light layer into Manhattan on a warm spring day (high sixties low seveties.) I'm currently wearing it right now on a hike. It keeps the sun off my bare arms (I hate wearing sunscreen) without overheating me too much. I like to think the material is breathable, I mean it seems like it has tiny airholes in the fabric. I like that the pockets have zippers and that the sleeves have thumbholes. The wrists are tight enough to not slip too far down onto my hands when I don't use the thumbholes . The proportions of this fit me really well which is hard at times to find in women's clothes. I am 5'8", 180-185 lbs. long torso, most weight on the belly, hips, and thighs. I bought an xl. This is long enough to hit me at the right spot on my torso and like I said the sleeve length is good for my long arms. It's a bit more fitted in the torso than I am accustomed to bit it's stretchy and is not too tight on my hips so I don't seem to mind that. It's quite flattering actually. I got the navy blue which isn't probably the best choice for keeping cool, but considering buying this in another lighter color. I've washed it in cold water with regular detergent, no fabric softener and hung it to dry. It washes really well. I have really no complaints and like I said am considering ordering another one in a different color. Mine did not come with a logo embossed on it which I'd prefer to being an advertisement.

I bought this in another color two years ago and it's been my go-to layer at home and all my travels. I cram it into my day pack and it comes out perfect. Had to buy a 2nd color. Love the inside and outside pockets plus the sun protection.

Im editing my original review. The sleeves on medium were too tight so I returned it and bought a large. The fit is much better and I am pleased with the jacket. Its very lightweight and comfortable.For reference, Im 5'2"/ 125 lbs. The large is loose on me but that's the fit I was looking for. Medium would have been fine, as well, but, as mentioned below, the sleeves were strangely tight.I purchased the light blue color and it is very pretty. Pictures are accurate for the color.---------------I ordered a medium and it fit well except the sleeves were very tight. I do not have big arms but the sleeves were uncomfortably tight. Im 5'2 125, the rest of the jacket fit as expected but I returned it bc I purchased it to wear in the sun/warm weather. I don't want tight, restrictive clothing on when it's warm outside. I can't comment on the durability or quality since I didn't wear it. I did not like the brand emblem though. Color was nice, fabric was soft. I would have kept it if the sleeves had not been so tight.

This is my second one of these, I liked the first one so much that I bought another, in a different color. The fabric is lightweight enough to be comfortable in Florida summer, but the weave is tight enough to provide good sun protection. The hood partly covers the neck. The arm length is generous enough that it covers most of my hands when I use the thumbholes. The cuffs can be scrunched up or rolled easily.I'm 5'11" and 160 lbs, the large fits me great.
