Worked great on my 2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI
Needed this kit when I had to replace the intake camshaft on my MK7 GTI 2.0 TSI. Using the provided camshaft central valve socket, I was able to remove the original "Camshaft oil control valve" and install the new one which required a different size socket which was also included in the kit. I only needed to use the chain tensioner locking "C" clip, and the 2 sockets to finish the job.

Excellent for DIY one-time project
I had a big overhaul to do on a 2012 Audi A4 2.0T, and didn't want to take out a second mortgage for the OEM special tools. I decided to give this a try and am glad I did. I used most parts in this kit and didn't have any issues with any of the parts, everything worked just as intended. Even the specialty wrench for holding the crank pulley held up to an obnoxious torque spec.

Impressive build quality for the money
Got this to do an oil consumption overhaul on my son’s 2010 Audi A5, 2.0t. I was very impressed with the quality, very nicely made and seems quite complete, not knowing what I’d actually need exactly. Removing cams and harmonic pulley all good. Having some concern about the pulley tool pin strength, I was very careful to keep the tool fully engaged and flat against the harmonic pulley so all 4 prongs were fully engaged. It took about 4’ of breaker bar extensions to get that bolt loose, but it worked and with no damage or distortion of the tool pins. Sure beats the old days when one would have to rent special tools on a tight timeline to do this stuff.

Seems like a comprehensive tool kit
I’ve only used it once but had all the tools I needed to complete the job, and then some. The tools I used seem to be of decent quality and worked like they should. I was skeptical of quality because of the low price. Would suggest and would order again if needed.

Decent kit for the home mechanic
The kit had everything I needed to replace the head gasket in a 2011 Audi A4. My only gripe is that the cam chain lock did not work and the chrome on the pulley holder is flaking right out of the box. With that said it helped make short work of the rebuild, and I would buy it again.
