Great tool for gardening too
We use to borrow BIL's clay spade when needing to do some digging in our hard soil. Decided to get something to have my own, but didn't want to spend the $250 to $600 for an SDS-Plus name brand.This hammer drill has been great - not too heavy and good power. Also bought a $25 pack of wider bits.

Good product for your money and application.
Perfect for the price, the hammer section of the drill is just what I expected, good power and hammer action. Works in very hard concrete, would advise to purchase additional bits for your applications.

Budget priced item. You never really know.But this product has kept up. Hammer drilling through rock is a abusive task. This drill is keeping up, doing a good job, not showing any signs of breaking down. Been happy with the performance so far.

Solid Performance at a GOOD price
Had a single project requiring (30) 8"x1/2" Anchor bolts and (6) 10"x3/4" Hold Down bolts. Looking at hammer drills - this caught my eye based on price alone. However, having performed the work - I can say this tool did a fantastic job and worked just fine by me. It's a bit on the heavy side, but it's also a heavy duty tool and solidly built. It's ergonomic enough and with the 360-deg adjustable handle - there wasn't a drill position that I could not get good leverage on. Can't speak to the longevity of this tool since I don't drill concrete for a living on a daily basis, but if you're looking for this kind of tool for a substantial DIY project and need to chisel/drill concrete - I would highly recommend this tool....I was not disappointed and it worked perfect for me. I would add - keep an eye on the grease - the tool came filled up with grease and for the above scope of work - I ended up using the whole tube provided !

Powerful SDS hammer drill that cuts through concrete like butter.
Got this to punch a 5" hole through the basement floor for a radon suction pit. My old 1/2" drill with hammer function was taking forever to drill a single 1/2" hole through the 4-5" of concrete. This beast drills a 5/8" hole in seconds! Drilled a series of 16 holes in a 5" pattern in about 10 minutes and the used chisel bits to bust it out. Ended up with a fairly clean 5" hole. I then used chisel bits and a long 3/4" drill bit to loosen up the packed clay and sand to dig out the radon bit. I would not have got it done without this tool. I ended up having to add a second pit to the system and this tool was up to the task. (got the radon down from 20 to about 1) . Held up well for how I was mistreating, the tool
