This gas lift cylinder exactly matches the dimensions in the product listing. I bought it to replace a different manufacturer's cylinder that I had installed in my office chair only three months before. That cylinder had already failed, and would sink under my weight (245 lbs.) This one cost one dollar more, and is rated for 350 lbs. I'm sitting in the office chair I installed it in as I type this, and it's rock solid. Hopefully, it will last a long time. Kudus to JOBOON Direct for their fast shipping. this gas lift is a great edition for my office chair. let's hope it will last because i'm not a heavy person.

This gas lift lasted about a month with minimal slippage (I expect some incidental slipping every once in a while, and don't care much). As of today, though, it slips constantly, even though I am well below its advertised weight threshold. It has been 40 days since I ordered it, so roughly 35 or so since I put it in. Definitely not "heavy duty"; don't waste your money.

The product works as advertised, however based on the description I was expecting to receive two cylinders. In fact you have to go further down and click a button to "redeem a coupon" to get the 50% off. Never had an item on Amazon be so misleading.

Don't know, why this is actually on the market.The average person is somewhere between 5'6"-6'.This one makes you feel like a giant.If you are in the average height range, your knees will visit your ears.I put it in a drawer and have actually no use for it.My best guess is, it might be the correct height for a school kid, but not for a grown up.

This cylinder was the exact replacement - make and model - for the failed unit on the office chair we were working on. I ordered it by dimensions - might be helpful to others to include the manufacturer and part number in the listing, although these are (mostly) universal as long as you measure properly.

Good replacement for my office chair

Fits and works perfectly on my chair. I don't think any of these things can be expected to last forever so it's nice to have a low cost replacement available if you don't want to replace the whole chair.
