This one is the best. It is a lot smaller, yet works like a charm. Inside is an extension tube to connect to a garden hose. I did not use it. I bought a Shark fitting that connects to 1/4 inch copper tubing and ran that across the pool deck in an expansion joint in the concrete deck. I drilled a couple of holes in the base and screwed the unit down. Super neat installation.

Was difficult to seal hose end like other reviews have said, but one I used alot of teflon tape on the hose, didnt leak a drop. Been working good all summer, so far.

Simple hose connection was all that was required to install the unit. Now my pool water level in maintained automatically. Labor and time saving addition to our pool.

The water inlet leaked and tried multiple levels of tightness. The float sticks and would never turn on without wiggling it. The valve sticks and you would have to tap it for it to release and start working. Then it fell apart when I was trying to see if I could adjust it and I broke the cheap plastic tabs trying to put it back together. It is extremely cheaply made. The company I purchased it from was very easy to work with and promptly refunded my money. You may have better luck with it but if not they stand behind their products very well.

I ended up returning this. It was easy to install, no leaks, and pretty good looking. But the water flow was super low and upon further inspection I realized that even though it’s built to connect to a regular garden hose the inside piping constraints the water flow to a 1/4 inch pipe! It would have taken hours to top off water loss from evaporation in the unforgiving summer heat we have here. I wish we could have made it work, they should include the option to not restrict the hose size.

The pool filler worked well for a season. I took it apart and cleaned it 3 times after it stopped working, and it would last about a week each time. I will probably just buy another one, but I may look at the brands for longevity. I live in an area with very good water quality, so there was not much in the way of scale or water deposits. I'm not sure if some kind of natural lubricant would help, but hesitate to put anything in the pool on the float mechanism.

It arrived in a beat up box, but no damage fully assembled, took a few minutes to adjust the float height. Not sure where all the poor instructions or leak reviews are from , did they get a different product.Only downside was the instructions were useless since I didn’t need them.

Installed in my pool ~3 months ago and the water level is remaining full. My buddy also has one and we are both pleased with this product.
