I moved to a new city in Northern California from a different city in Northern California (with a new water source) three years ago and basically overnight developed terrible skin issues. For three years I have tried nearly everything to resolve the dry flaky itchy irritable skin on my legs and face to no avail. I honestly couldn’t believe how terrible my skin felt, always tight, itchy, ingrown hairs when I shaved my legs. Acne on my face. I felt like my skin stopped allowing my hair to grow through and basically became like a closed capsule over my body. Every follicle basically became an inflamed issue.Sorry to go into so much detail, but I was being driven mad by this change in my skin and searched for years for a fix- with different moisturizers, salicylic acid , ahas, body oils, you name it I tried it. I had basically given up hope and couldn’t figure out what happened to my skin. Then I stumbled upon a post online that mentioned how hard water can affect sensitive skin and that some people with skin issues might benefit from a water filter on their shower. So I figured what the hell. I had had a pimple here out there before. But this new situation left my body covered in boils and ingrown hairs and I was desperate for a solution.I bought this filter despite some negative reviews because I liked the price point. I’ve been using it for a week, and the install was not difficult. At first it leaked water, but I took it off and added more plumbers tape and it worked fine. No more leaks, water pressure is fine.When I tell you that instantly in my first shower I knew something was different. My shampoo soaped different, I barely need any compared to before to create a lather.My hair is so shiny and soft now. And after a few days, my skin started peeling and appears to be recovering from whatever was affecting me before. I felt like I molted my weird dry skin and my face is healing. I am no longer itchy, and I am not feeling like I have to slather myself in lotion.Long story short. If you are on your last hope and searching for something to try to help with your skin issues- it’s been life changing for me. I did go online and look at the water report for my city to make sure this filter took out the worst offenders in my water. I would highly recommend looking at your water report before deciding which filter to buy- just to make sure it will have the positive affect you desire.I highly recommend this filter and would honestly buy it again and again because my results are incredible.

I was able to install with my hand; zero store brought tools needed. First shower filter ever used. Hair and skin felt better after one shower. After my second shower I decided to upload pics. My hair has been so “off” (dry, breakage) for years. Pic on the left is my hair sans any products & the other w/product.This filter is amazing!!! I recently purchased the AquaBliss HD HEAVY DUTY Shower Filter for my household of four, and I have been using it since June 29th. After almost two weeks of use, I am quite impressed with the performance of this filter, especially considering that we have hard water from the Tampa Bay region in Florida.Pros:Effective Filtration: As shown in the photos, the filter has effectively captured a significant amount of unwanted minerals and debris. The top layer of the filter is visibly dirty, indicating that it’s doing its job well.Easy Installation: Setting up the filter was straightforward and hassle-free. The instructions were clear, and I had it up and running within minutes.Improved Water Quality: Since installing the filter, I’ve noticed a difference in the water quality. The water feels softer on the skin and hair, and there’s a reduction in the chlorine smell.Cons:Residual Discoloration: Despite the effective filtration, the bottom layer of the filter still shows considerable discoloration. This suggests that some undesirable minerals, debris, and chlorine might still be present in the water.Frequent Replacement: Given the visible dirt on the filter, it seems like it might need to be replaced more frequently than I anticipated. This could be an added cost over time.Overall, the AquaBliss HD HEAVY DUTY Shower Filter has made a positive impact on our shower water quality. While it doesn’t eliminate all impurities, it significantly reduces them, providing a better showering experience. I moved to a new place with pretty hard water (gives that squeaky clean feeling as the particles in the water cause friction) that's super chlorinated as well. My acne was breaking out for about 3 months... It was the worst condition that my skin has ever been in... and I couldn't figure out why. Finally, I realized it must've been the water. So I searched Amazon for a water filter and found this gem. It's affordable. And very easy to install, it came with instructions and even plumber's tape to help keep things secured. You just follow the guide and screw the parts onto your shower faucet. It hasn't affected the water pressure much in my opinion. Water still flows pretty steadily. I've had it installed for a bit over a month and gosh, my acne has improved so much. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the worst acne that I had before getting this, I'm probably at a 4.5 now. All within 1 month. Amazing. I will keep continuing to get replacement filters. No complaints at all. Thanks Aqua Bliss! (:

The media could not be loaded. The brushed bronze look is perfect! I could immediately tell the water is perfectly filtered. Living in the city, there is a constant chlorine smell that leaves my eyes burning and skin irritated. The smell is gone!Here's the downside:This filter immediately started leaking when installed. I didn't realize this was an issue until I had to dig for reviews that indicated this being a common problem with the mid-seam.
